Nowhere safe?

my inscription guy was sitting quietly in the house on siege perilous, and some red comes along and kills him with a spellweaving spell from the outside of the house! This means nowhere is safe except inside cities, and a house is well nigh useless. His non-medable LRC suit took damage (many many escorts went to pay for that too), and my enthusiasm for siege has dropped a great deal, i don't even want to log on now!

Hm. Well, <insert the usual retort about SP being the hard shard here> to get that out of the way. They used to do this with Earthquake until the Devs nerfed the spell a few years back. Looks like they over looked the necro area effect spells.

Were you Hidden when he came by? That's the only way to spend any time at home on PvP+ shards/facets. I used to Inscribe in the Vesper Mage shop, up on the 2nd floor in their conference room, to avoid this problem back in my Felucca days. Hardly ever got bothered up there and the bank is only a few steps away.
