noob seeking advice

Hello! Just started on Siege! Been here a couple of years ago for really short time, not enough to get my bearings or get to know people. I have played UO on and off on other servers in the past, but am certainly far from being expert at the game.

I am trying to build a paladin, and cemetery undead are still hard beyond hope, while mongbats are too boring already. What would be good places and monsters for semi-dangerous training in my fairly weak current state? All advice is appreciated, thanks!

North of Zento (Makoto Moongate) in the desert.....you can find mobs for any skilllevel training there

First Level of Deceit is always a good place for training, skeletons and mummies are very good skill gains!

Vampire bats! You can plenty of them on the West side of Umbra and the SW side of Gravewater Lake on that side of town, as well. There are tons of Sheep to sheer out there, as well.

Covetous level 1 have harpies that don´t aggro you until you attack them.

If a PK shows up, fight him back to get experience in dieing to PKs (which you most likely will) or run S/E to Cove. Welcome back.

Edit: In Covetous 1 there are also headless miners that drop rare golden mining tools. Some collector might pay handsomly for them if you´re lucky.
