What shard?
If you are talking ATL - I was up yday before the server down...we killed the champ and I looted it (waited for the corpse to go public) and went to turn my drops in (probably 20min worth of play)... I got up to get some coffee and when I came back I had connection loss. Figured when I logged back in I'd probably be at the turn in guy....nope my toon was dead (from the champ) and booted from Mistas. The server didn't come back up until a little after 7am EST.
I'm guessing I lost the message in the fray of all the names/spells/corpses/etc but where it stopped saving (when I died) was probably around the 25% HP of the champ so it had to be like 15min of "no save time" allowed versus the normal 3-5min. This morning I got up and logged in around 7:10 thinking I was probably only goin to catch half the siege.... I rolled up to the Mistas first wall and it still wasn't ready to be bombed yet. Sounds like this morning was probably similar to yday with a longer than usual revert.
I"m also on Atlantic, for Italy the maintenance time is 12am. It is difficult for me to be online at that time but it happened just 2 or 3 days ago that, without any warning, the server went down. And for a long time. I didn"t die because I was at home but when I restarted I found that I still hadn"t done many things. The kind that I still had to start fixing all the chests. I can"t tell you more because it happened to me only once, I hope I helped you!
I have noticed that the ATL daily server down does seem a lot long than every other shard's down time... for shards like Origin I think it's roughly 5-8min whereas ATL downtime is easily 25-30min. Lately it seems like the unsave period is a lot longer too... again for a shard like Origin I'll get the message and the shard goes down in a few minutes and that 3-5min isn't saved.... versus ATL where I've lost like 20min of gameplay with the revert (I didn't see the message about the reset so maybe it just takes that long to go down).
