Id say unless the SP! boyz say they still playing, then it is time to resign.
I play daily, with an occasional side trip to Europa.
Actually I think it's good to maintain chars on a prodo shard too, the change of pace can be refreshing. Sort of 'a change is as good as a rest' idea.

Well I WANT to play.
Been kinda hard trying to log on to play UO at all, with mother in law here since end of Jan.
More company coming today for a week, our daughter wants to see her grandma so she is flying out here for a week from Calif. I look forward to her arriving today or tomorrow, whenever she gets a seat on the jet TO get here.
BUT............IF or WHEN I get to log on, I am still playing here.
*waits for March 10 or so when NO ONE is here, talkin at me and visiting*

PvP has been quite boring lately though. Seems it is either fight a mob, or fight no one. And that is on both sides, I hate logging on and seeing we have 20 in vent and only 2 TNT are on.

Everyday, SP only.
Got well developed toons on LS,got RL friends always pestering me to come there and help with SA bosses. I just can`t do it. Everything thats bad about UO (for me) resides on prodo shards.....and it has nothing to do with Tram.

"Play" is such a strong word. I pretty much log in to SP every day but I go AFK a lot. My game time is pretty much 5 to 15 mins of "Play" without being dragged away by a 4 year old wanting to show me his new amazing mess ahem I mean accomplishment.
SP's being different is pretty much is the only thing that has kept my UO accounts open since I moved here 6 years ago. I will stay here until it becomes mostly just like any other Prodo shard or until they pull the plug on it. Then its bye bye to UO.

Took a break, but I'm back - pretty much every day.
Been on Siege for a long long time (11 years now?)...Never quit or even taken a break. Multiple accounts (all on Siege). When they pull the plug, I'll be the one to turn out the lights

i log into ultima online everyday.
I normally log in on the shards Siege, Great lakes, and Atlantic. In no specific order at least once a day... Now the amout of time spent on each is dependent of the action avalible at said times...

I am from Atlantic, that was my shard in early 2000's, before Trammel, before private housing and lockdowns, before housing tools, when house keys and trapped boxes were your only real way to defend your house items.
I loved it, but went away for five years. I decided to return based on the memory of the game, remembering how fun it was. I reinstalled ( 9th Anniversary Collection ), patched up, and logged in... my 5 chars were still on Atlantic! Naturally, I checked their packs and found a bunch of junk on them, my house deeds were replaced with house placement tools, I was wearing bone armour from the graveyard ( pretty good for its day ), and the town was bursting with activity! People selling their wares in front of Brit bank! I didnt know about trammel yet, and someone saw me in bone armour and knew I had just returned from a long absence.
They updated me on rules, facets, and skills, sorted through my belongings, tossing most of it out ( but I'm sure they must have kept some server rares, I didnt know any different ), and made me a GM suit of armor to get back on my feet. I played there for about a year, found a guild to join, we did champ spawns regularly, but something was missing...
I was longing for the old UO I remembered...
I kept hearing about Siege, and made a character here by the name of Nightstalker. I typically just logged in and trained some skills when Atlantic shard went down ( which was pretty often ), stealth lockpicker, detect / remove trap, ninjitsu.
I joined NEW long ago and logged in a few times here or there, but never really made use of the guild, I was eventually booted for inactivity after 2 months maybe.
It was when I found Chad Sexingtons web episodes that I remembered the good old days, he looked like he was having so much fun, and in his later episodes, he mentioned he had moved to Siege... I had to be in his guild!

i play! but as of late ive been rocking dragon age, once i beat it ill be on more often...
i dont get it were so many people who play siege. and you guys keep saying they may put the plug on it.... you guys have no mind... just think about how many $ in real life they make on siege. buying game code, SA upgrade, all this ****. 12.99 per month... by account just think about it. it doesnt take to much to run a shard. actualy they are some crappiest shard than our. they have less people and still run....

name of your character appears in the General chat channel with no message
after it.

The only reason for this game to be over with is a business decision by Myth/EA management. Nothing, and I mean nothing said on this forum or
other forums will change that.
This shard : Siege Perilous, like the other shards plays itself. The only thing
that matter is action inside the game. This forum is for advice and information, it is not part of the game.
