I dont think it ups the difficulty of anything other than one more hassle for players. Unnecessary busy work.

There is supposed to already be a debuff at night and entering dungeons, dungeons are supposed to be dark, if you're not getting that effect, you're using cheats. You probably didn't even realise as you've been cheating for so long.

My prodo guys have night sight. But my warriors on NL don't. It's very dark in dungeons.
