What does the 'main event' consist of, again...and are those times EST?

Valentine's Day is almost upon us and it is time for us to think about love and
affection once more. However, there is more to love than just kisses and
chocolates. Love can manifest itself in many of the Virtues, and this will be
the theme of our Valentine events on Saturday, 14th February.
The main event will take place at 7pm EST (midnight GMT) when nine
commemorative, uniquely named roses will be on offer as prizes. All types of
character have a chance of winning a prize, including those with no skills at
all (so I want to see some NEW guild members there!)
Later on, at 9pm EST (2am GMT), a tournament will be taking place when a further
two roses will be awarded to the winning team. Each team will consist of one
male mage and one female non-mage. However, so as not to restrict participants
too much, as long as the mage is wearing a robe and the non-mage a plain dress,
I will not be checking what is underneath!
Tournament Rules
Teams consist of two players. Only one team member can cast spells
(magery/necromancy/spellweaving).
The mage must be wearing a standard robe, the non-mage must wear a plain dress.
Both items must be dyed the same color. No shrouds may be worn during the duels.
No pets or summons.
No hiding/invis.
No fields.
No faction items, either equipped or in backpacks.
No stealthing within the tournament building.
Tournament location is yet to be determined. If the Siege community wishes to
choose one itself, please do so.
EM Alcor is please to announced that he can now perform official wedding
services for the citizens of Siege. Any service includes the provision of rings
for the bride and groom, engraved with the messages of your choice (within
reason!).
To discuss your requirements for the happy day, please leave your [character]
names in this book together with an email address where I can contact you.
Thank you!
