Sakkarah: I'm definitely in favor of "encouraging" the use of things such as the runic alphabet, the Gargish, lizardmen and frankly even the wisps' languages. I do not believe we should force players into learning them however. But expanding the Gargish dictionary and making some of the runes available to the players through the Primeval Lich spawn were the first steps.

I'm interested in this. I do think UO needs to add this and with meaning to the game. I'm not sure what "I do not believe we should force players into learning them however" means. If there's no meaning, it's meaningless...if that makes any sense.

My take on that is that she believes it should be something that players want to do - but are not forced to do to participate. It lets the players be as immersed in the world as they choose to be.

That'd be cool. I hate trying to push for time to beat others to goodies, and like to just hop in the game and work on things as I choose. I like referring to notes, and that kind of play. Mostly, I like depth. The deeper the better. I've wanted to study up on the Wisp language again, like in the old days when there was an effort spearheaded by The Seekers of the Wisps. I don't know if they did something to make Wisp language more than what it used to be or not.

I shot her an email last night about it. Also if you do not feel your bank was done right find your original email you sent into [email protected]
and send in your response you got from [email protected]. That is what I did.
I am not saying this will help or this is what they are asking you to do but,
perhaps it may help Mesanna as well.

Yeah I know not all of it can be done to match what he came up with exactly because of the major differences between a tile-based game and paint, but that doesn't excuse almost completely winging it...

Just.. wait til a less hectic time to do it.. you shouldn't be forcing yourself to if your heart isn't into it or if there's too much going on outside of the game due to the holidays, if that's what the problem is. :z
