that MR calc u linked to on the stratics meditation page is still giving old calculations

I just plugged in the numbers from the ask the devs example and it does appear to be off ! of course this is assuming the dev got the calculation example right!
when I use the calculator that Walker provided it matches up exactly!

when he/she does update the calculator and page that was linked...please be sure to let them know that the small statement below the graph is incorrect

The hard cap on MR was removed.


according to the calculation the Dev gave....30 total MR on your suit is the cap

My apologies, seems the file re-name I did didn't take. Hopefully that's fixed now.
However I also checked the information for pub 46:

Perhaps 30MR is the 'soft cap'. ie you just can't get more than that on a suit?

in that link Phoenix mentions the following equation


4C> Let Intensity Bonus be the square root of the sum of your Mana Regen intensities, capped at 5.5 (30 total intensity).

the 30 total intensity and the 5.5 sqrt cap (which is one and the same) is where i get that info

so you could have more than 30 MR in your suit....but anything over 30 would be useless

i don't know how this applies to abilities like Lich Form which gives you bonus MR tho /shrug

perhaps the question could be forwarded to Phoenix for clarification?

how does lich form MR apply to the formula?
how come the formula says the hard cap is 30 when pub 46 notes says its 18....and the UI display in EC won't go past 18?

i assume i know how it works...but it's best to get confirmation

I ran a couple tests on the new calc...the numbers look good...thanks petra
