Sadly my head was still fuzzy from the beating I took along side Seth and the Cove Militia. I was headed to Luna to pay Dallben back, I owed him a large sum of gold that, in truth, I didn't intend on paying back, but he'd cornered me outside Delucia so it was time to have a sit down. As I passed the Luna carpenter I caught a glance at her, pale skin, a bustier and a voice that sang out like the thwang of a new crossbow, Atlanta.

Blarney stones and treasure, sounded like a way of weaseling out of that debt and walking away with a little in my pockets, I was sold, Kate was getting a very abrupt visit very soon.

I frowned profusely as I noticed the acute lack of a front door, not being able to kick a door in I just walked upstairs and found the woman Atlanta had turned me too in tears with a large coinpurse next to her, the gal was good for two things, looking and information.

With little more than a word she went into the a tale of Gypsies, Leprechauns, Pixies, and a mad " fiddlin' " son, this wasn't going to be the clean cut job I had hopped for.

A short run around Ilshenar later I found Tim near The Shrine of Compassion, hauling him from the ground by the collar I kicked the book next to him open, asking him to spin me a tale.

For some reason Tim told me the story in song, but in the middle of the yarn he dropped some decent information.

I thought I heard him say something about these short guys trying to kill him, I was barely outside of earshot as I spotted the first leprechaun up to his chest in mud. Quinn, as I found out, would be quick to tell me his story.

I sighed fully, removing the ale I had been saving to give to Dallben to keep him from stabbing me, hopefully the extra coin from this job would ensure that. Quinn the Thirsty accepted the ale quickly.

Never one to doddle I set out for the next Leprechaun who, luckily, was so green he didn't blend in with the trees around him.

Always quick to trade, this kind, this job was quickly sapping me of all of my celebration libation and vittles, they wouldn't get the victory ham, no, not this one. I stuffed the ham into my robe as I approached the final wee man, he rubbed his hands together as I approached him.

The little thief had robbed me, but between his hungry thirsty friends I had everything I needed, the location of the Blarney Stone and the words of power to make sure the only thing Brian had to remember this by next year would be an empty vault. I'd pay back Dallben, split the leftover with Tim so he could see his mother good, and be back to my girl by the end of the day, it was too ease, money in the bank, I was finally going to be back in the black and without seeing any red. I slipped down to the courtyard of the castle and spotted the stone. It was hard not to.

I yelled the words "CARA ANAM!" No dice. I paused. "ANAM CARA!?!" Nothing. No gold, brick, coin, crude, rock, nothing. It was about this time I noticed two green robes on the hill and the wall, then a strangely dressed figure appeared above the stone, suspended by two giant spiders, Mesanna, this went all the way to the top. This was big.
"Try kicking it."
I perked my brow then shrugged. I kicked it, and my shoes suddenly errupted into light, and when I looked down, I had nothing to loose at that point.

"Now hold these spiders for me."
SPIDERS! Mesanna was long gone, taking her lackies with her, and leaving me with sixteen legs and eighteen eyes worth of problems, I was gone, no time to think about it, this job wasn't worth it whatever gold Brian kept in his hall wasn't worth this, I'd fence the shoes and keep dodging Dallben until I could hit it big next time. I tossed a rude gesture at Tim as I walked by, last I heard he went back to herding.

It had been a long day full of strange people, just another day in Britannian for some of us, and for some of us it was the last. Just about then my door swung open wide, the skull mask of my good friend diddn't move as he spoke, but I knew he was smiling.
"They didn't get the ham, eh?"
