Nothing unusual, that.
However, this time, rather than the usual clang of blade on backplate, the Wakayama clan was berefit of good leadership!
Now, some of their detractors may say that there was nothing unusual about that, either, but luckily for the Shogun, most of the citizens of Siege are of a far kinder sort than that, and set out to rescue him!
Many gathered in Umbra, where they heard the details of the kidnapping!
From there, a frantic chase began across the countryside, going from town to town, seeking any who may have seen or heard a sign of the Shogun, and his captors!

From Umbra to Tokuno, to Yew, through Wintermoor, to Iantown, and beyond, they searched! Several people were found who had witnessed the Shogun's journey - but each time, the party was just a little too late to find him!

Finally, things came to a head in Umbra. For fear of turning the good Shogun's face red, I will leave him to explain his precise *ahem* activities that evening, but it is rumored that he was no unwilling captive, and may only have stopped in Iantown for the use of a sheep.
After he was safely found, a great battle errupted, which lasted many an hour!
The streets of Umbra ran red with blood, and many suits of armor were unwillingly exchanged, many, many times!

Congratulations to Waka on a fine event, and to all who took part for making the evening a lot of fun for all!
And well fought, all ye warriors!
I witnessed many interesting things in that fight, some not known on Siege in many an age - nearly all good!
* KSS offering gates to chaos for enemy ghosts
* VmP returning items, and not dry looting
* CCC collecting enemies items, and returning them to them - even taking some to the bank for safety.
* VmP helping newbies!
* CWS dancing in the streets!
* Many reds trying to guard the bodies of blues who they had just killed while they ran for a rez - and then letting them have their stuff back!
* People withstanding, and even killing, bushido archers!
* The ladies taking pride in their appearance! (When IS your next night out, ladies of Siege?)
* People enjoying PvP on Siege!!!!!!
* Complete and utter chaos! Fantastic!!!!
* Castor trying to impress people with his bare chest, claiming that Wyrm had stolen his tunic. We'll believe you, Castor. Mm, hm.
* Some new phrases from vampires! Some were even managing to be charming, according to some of the ladies I spoke to!
("Decapitates you with a flourish"??? Who came up with THAT one???)
* People LAUGHING about being killed!
* Some annoying trammie notos. *throws over ripe fruit at the notos*
