was intrigued by Bea's recent trip into the Britain Sewers, and spent some time asking around the towns of our lands, to see if anyone had heard of any other strange goings on.

Were we about to face another invasion?
Where was Inu?
WHO was Inu?
Who murdered the guard?
And... did anyone really care?

All these questions went unanswered, but I did encounter a series of people, all of whom seemed connected.
I was sent running all over the lands, from town to town, in ever decreasing circles!
That tour of Siege nearly ended as food for a balron... but I'm getting ahead of myself!

<table height="351" width="432" align="center" border="1"> <tr> <td>

When I asked a peasant named Oliver about the recent happenings, he lead me to a beggar named Tim, who, strangely for a beggar, knew an actor, who went by the name of Nicholas.
(Or, perhaps not so strange, considering the pay that actors receive.)
Nicolas guided me on towards one of Kelmo's counterparts, Ebenezer the Mayor.
Again, a strange relationship, for while I can picture a Mayor attending the theatre, it must have been a rousing performance to get him to actually speak to the actor.
Still, stranger things have happened.

I hear WyRm is being sought after by the guild of thespians, for his recent, outstanding performance.
His Lordship had no sheep about him, but he did suggest that my questions, and the wherabouts of a certain Ricardo, might be better answered by ***en the Noble.

This nobleman was the strangest of all. After much ado about nothing, he send me in search of a thief. Ricardo, by name.

And so, I donned one of my many stunning disguises, and, dressed as a chicken, I approached the Terathan Keep.
It had been some time since I'd last gone mining there, and I made a note to return later, pickaxe in hand.
For now, though, it seemed this Ricardo might be able to answer my questions, and perhaps help with a door which I'd found while trying to pluck giant chickens on a remote island the week before.

Still, after creeping past the Terathans, a few of their mortal foes, the snake-like Ophidians, a nightmare or two, and a few hundred large scorpions, I found myself in what felt like a large bird's nest. I also found my hand on the hoof of a balron, and decided that this was a good time to be elsewhere!

Some tossed sticks convinced the balron to go to the other side of the room, while I felt around for an exit. Unfortunately, my sleeve got caught on a wall-mounted torch. While struggling to get free, I must have pressed a hidden switch somewhere, for I then found myself thrown into another chamber - and I was not alone!

After some VERY quiet crawling around in what I hoped was the shadows, I came to realise that this was the Terathan jail.
Well, I had been told that Ricado was a very good thief indeed, but, if he had been caught, and survived, surely this is where he would be placed?  Donning another disguise, this time a skeleton, I started to search.

I inspected the cells, and, just as I was about to give up, found a dummy filled with straw, not unlike the scarecrows of the Britainian fields, in a cell. As my hand brushed against it, I heard a sound any GM tinker would know - clockwork gears starting to move!  Then, came a voice - from the dummy! Wonderful tinkering indeed!

This scarecrow sang the same song over and over, obviously seeking to convince those who had captured its maker that he was still present in the cell. So far, it seemed to work. The Terathans obviously had little understanding of humans, and thought this was how they normally behaved. So, in relative peace, save for the scarecrow's never-ending dirge, I inspected the rest of the cell.

There was little else there. My hand landed in some sticky bees wax, with something crudely carved on it about next week, and I also found a scroll, kindly inscribed in braille, which was a thanks from Ricardo for a distraction of some sort.

Growing increasingly tired of hearing the same phrases over and over, I left the cell, and found another torch on the north wall of the passage. With luck, this would get me out!

It did - straight back into the lap of the balron!

So, I was no better off than when I began. No answers. No way past the door. No Ricardo.
And sticky beeswax all over the sleeve of the deathrobe that the balron gave me.

Maybe next week will be more fruitful...</td></tr></table>

When I first posted regarding the Inu event, the general response from those who took the trouble to PM me was that they did not want 'general' event reporting to be duplicated on the Siege forums. They prefered to keep all the information about such events in one place, and in this case, that seemed to be U.Hall.

As a result of your requests, those who bothered to request, coverage has been minimal. However, for those who claim there has been NO coverage, I suggest you look again.

This week, Beatrice posted a poll about this matter.
It can be found <a target="_blank" href=http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/uo/showflat.php?Cat=&amp;Board=uosiegeperil&amp;Number=6686030&amp;Forum=,All_Forums,&amp;Words=&amp;Searchpage=0&amp;Limit=25&amp;Main=6686030&amp;Search=true&amp;where=&amp;Name=272670&amp;daterange=&amp;newerval=&amp;newertype=&amp;olderval=&amp;oldertype=&amp;bodyprev=#Post6686030>here</a>. So far, nineteen people have bothered to respond.
About one fifth of those don't want any coverage at all.
A little under 50% want detail without solutions.
Since that small group is currently in the majority, that is what I have attempted to provide here today.
No details as to how to find the various NPCs, none of the clues, but a basic overview, with some sketchy details of the end.

Once the poll comes to an end, this coming weekend, I will base future Inu coverage on the results, to the extent that I am able.

Thank you, and happy Inu hunting.</td></tr></table></td></tr></table>

ooh I like the Scarecrow!
Would love to have one of them as home decor.

I've never been interested in the EA scenarios. I dont think I have ever followed any in my 6+ yrs on UO.

The news reports on UHall cover them very well in my humble opinion and I dont know why they need to be repeated here? But in any case, another wonderful report by you Otto.

Now... if I can just get my home PC to work long enough to get my next story done, it would be nice. I think my MoBo is ill.

I hope they weren't attached to skinny striped-stocking covered legs that curled up under the house when you approached. That would be creepy...

These are what you have to be careful of at Gonthrax's...

He's got them trained to fetch beers for HIM.... everybody else needs to notice
they all have 3 legs, and Gonthrax has a necklace with 4 monkey paws on it.
Monkeys [edit] with everybody but Gonthrax... and Ms. Rudolph.

Cheers!

P.S.
