Imperium Capital City Left Defenseless

Ethereal Void Imperium ships were dispatched to multiple island locations by Intendant Manshoon. They were ordered to secure multiple locations in the name of Kijustsu Anei. Unfortunately this left the city of Kijustsu Anei Village with very little defense.
Pirates took advantage of the situation in the early morning hours. Two Imperium vessels have been left adrift and objects such as the Void Crystal Fragment have been taken. Honorius mages are hanging their heads low this morning, unable to explain how these “pirates” were able to breach the protection field.
Furthermore these pirates did not come alone! Powerful mages and necromancers entered the city from the Homare-Jima moongate and made their way to center of the city. Once in possession of the Void Crystal Fragment they began harvesting powers from the Void Gateway. As a village militia began to form they quickly sealed the Void gateway, thus cutting off the ability for anyone to summon the Ethereal Guide or use its magics to protect Imperium townships.
Eye witnesses say they saw the large fleet sailing away through a magical gateway that looked like an oversize moongate. No statements have been made by the Intendant or the Void Core as of yet. Tonights Ethereal Void Imperium meeting being held at the Imperium Hall in the Capital city, should provide more information for us.
