[NEWS] Give the new client a workout!

As announced on The Herald, the SA client is now in open beta phase. You can download the new client, try it out here on Legends, and send in bug reports and feedback (both bad and good!) on what you see.

This is for the client only, the expansion of the new lands is still being worked on.

Go gettum, Legends! Try it out and let them know what they're doing, whether right or wrong!

Thunder, I'm as skeptical as anyone, more so lately... but there's a bug report feature in there, and you can bet I'm gonna be using it, and letting them know precisely what needs fixing for *me*.... I'll not be looking out for my fellow players, nor thinking about what is good for the masses, and if that sounds selfish so be it... I want UO to be good for me, and if there are enough around that play like me, we'll get things fixed

logging in to the new client I see a familiar world, whether I become as comfortable there as I am now, here, will be determined later

I was trying to be a bit sarcastic. I did not find the new client as bad as the KR client. This client at least seems like it evolved from the classic client, where the KR client seems to have nothing in common with the classic client;

I had troubles with the screen size with SA. It seems I cannot see any menus and can only access my paperdoll. I can see the very top of two "menu" looking things at the very bottom of the screen, same thing happen when I tried KR. Anyone have the same issues??? I would love to give it a go, but kinda hard with only a paperdoll and backpack =(

Amidoty, I think by default you are in windowed mode... if so, click on the little restore box up in the right hand corner and play with resizing your window to see if you can stretch it past the gumps that are showing... then you can move things in to where you can actually use them
