Community Meet Up - June 2

The weekly hunts with Sabina our hunt coordinator: A plan for all to continue meeting and hunting together.
Weekend hunts: We need a willing coordinator. Anyone up for the challenge one hour a weekend?

This just in from Lariat:
In lieu of the "A Tale of Murder" which did not happen due to Murphy's Law, we will be holding a Scavenger Hunt in approximately 2 hours (8:30 central time)! Prizes will be announced at the beginning of the hunt. Sorry for the short notice, but come on down! We'll kick off from the RCF house just West of Luna.

The weekly community meetings, events, hunts, etc are always open to the public. No invitations needed!
Everyone is always welcome to come ask questions, make plans, or make announcements.

What is considered a hunt? I might be interested in applying for weekend hunt coordinator, but need to know what is expected and time frames these hunts should happen.

Brief synopsis:
A community hunt is free for all who want to join regardless of guild. We meet at the Skara Brae community center usually at a set time but weekends could be flexible, even better if there is more than one hunt organizer that wants to help out.

A hunt is anything you would like to host and strictly up to your sense of adventure. We have done everything from treasure hunts and gauntlet runs to any dungeon you can think of and champ spawns (mainly Ilsh but a few times had ventured into Fel).

Basically the slate is blank and up to the hunt coordinator's ideas. Sabina I'm sure could provide a ton of suggestions on what has worked in the past. We'll promote it as news as at the meet up on Mondays as well as various forums and the icq town crier.

What I always suggest to avoid getting burnt out and feeling tied down is do what you enjoy and others will follow if they enjoy it too. Set up a time that is convenient for you and if the time changes each weekend it may actually benefit those who couldn't make it the time before. As long as we can consistently provide a chance for players to gather on the weekends it will be successful.
