Recovering Stolen Wisdom
The crowd began to gather at the Ter Mur Bank. They had been summoned to perform a task, one that no one was clear about. People spent the time talking, throwing Mesanna’s Crème Pies or snowballs at each other, and waiting for the task giver to appear.
Even the goblins came out to assist.
Soon, we saw a dark gargoyle appear. She introduced herself as An-Buci. She then began to explain her situation.
An-Buci: Des-ailem, ilem eger auks
I apologize, I must speak in human tongue..
I need assistance.
Let me begin at the start..
*looks around*
I am a student, as you might call it.
My masters, great scholars, had decided to send
Collection of books to the scholars of Lycaeum
As a sign of cooperation and friendship with the human
(two goblins walked in front of the student)
*narrows her eyes at the goblin*
I was in charge of translating the books!
And also for delivering them!
*sighs*
I was to finally see the Lycaeum
Alas, I was ambushed just outside the gates of the city
By a roving band of Ratmen bandits
And they stole all the books as well
All 10 bundles of books… gone!
Would you assist me in retrieving them?
After receiving a resounding and positive response from the crowd An-Buci answered a question that was on everyone's mind.
(when asked where the books and bandits might be)
They should be in the outskirts of Ter Mur, and perhaps, in the Abyss *shivers*
Please
I ask that you bring the books back to me
I will copy them and let you keep the book
As a reward
I will be at the bank!
[FONT="]After several fights and many deaths, word came to our group that the last two bandits had been found and were being taken down. We headed back to the bank to await the arrival of the last two books. As I arrived, An-Buci was telling the people gathered that she had 9 of the 10 books. Spawners Inc member, SugarDaddy, said his SI brethren were battling the last one. Soon Ayassa appeared and gave the final book to An-Buci[/FONT]
While waiting for the last of the books, the crowd chatted amongst themselves and with An-Buci.
Allie Koholik stated her cheese scented perfume hadn’t help her in her search to find the ratmen.

Kiljaedon spoke with An-Buci of the last of the books and whether or not Kiljaedon had any luck obtaining a book. He told An-Buci he hadn't. They also spoke of the large numbers that had shown up to assist An-Buci. [/FONT]
As An-Buci received the last set of books, she declared she would take them to the Lycaeum in the next few days. Thando asked if she needed an escort, but she declined and thanked us for the assistance. She then stated that Queen Zhah had made arrangements for an escort for her.
An-Buci then stated that the ambush on her was not a random act, but a contract to sabotage the relations between human and gargoyles. She said she would let her queen know of this very soon.
And with that she bowed to us and said “Take care friends.”
Congrats to those that found the books. These are listed in no particular order:
Jinx (SI), Stickup($CF$), Medusa (SI), Airhaun (SI), Palindrom (SI) recovered 2 books, Brigidane (SI), Cebo, and Orion (UTB).
I am still missing one name, If you recovered a book, please let us know so we can give you proper credit.
