Migration Update:

Shards are now online.

Production servers have been reverted to last best version August 13th, 2011 6:25 a.m. EDT, with the exception of Origin which was reverted to August 12th, 2011 7:02 a.m EDT.

Veteran rewards are currently disabled.

We are investigating 6th character slot and other entitlement issues associated with our recent change to a new account center. We are monitoring the forums and CS is forwarding all issue to the team. We will do our best to keep you updated as we hope to have many fixes implemented during the weekend. The team at Stratics has put together an additional How to Guide. Take a look, and as we discover other ways to increase the knowledge base for this transition we will add and share with you.

KInda ****ty accounts are missing chars i have 2 accounts that are missing char cause of this change and its ea fault will we see our char back i dont ,will they give us something in return i dont think so is this a way ea trying to kill the game i think so

Have we heard whether or not all of the inactive houses are going to fall?

I'm hoping that they activated the Return to Britannia thing to activate all inactive accounts, and then turned it off, causing all houses on those accounts to start a timer.

It'll be an IDOC and house placement paradise if they finally do what they've seen saying they would do.

Not sure if this is related, but I have been seeing alot more empty spaces with floating items in mid air with broken up carpets on the floor. Maybe there is no more IDOC for peope who have been exploiting the owning more then 1 house per account or the devs just want to get rid of all the bugged out houses that never fall on inactive accounts.

Either way enjoy the spaces I am looking at my sweet spots, then the shards went down.

Holy crap, if you saw a bunch of empty spaces today with floating items....

I didn't really bother looking around after seeing my 7th slot missing, but when they come back up, I'm going to start looking hard.

Okay, I saw two empty spots that weren't empty before, and those are just the two 18x18s I noticed.

But I saw a house that is one of the condemned OSI houses and it's been that way for years, and it's still standing.

And I'm still missing a character slot.

I'm lookin around on Origin..I had placed 2 houses back in 06 during the WBtB promo, both are still standing.

Well i have to put my foot in my mouth this time they fix mine ,,ok Now how come they couldnt replace a hacked char ? lol

The 6th and 7th chars were never 'missing', merely hidden. The server (accounts?) had to be told of the entitlement in order to 'see' them.

I wanted to add this here with the update from the FAQ page on uo.com on account migration. I don't know how much it helps but might be a reminder for some who read it.

Account Migration FAQ

FAQ UPDATE:

I have an old UO EA Account from 1998 and a new EA account I created just two years ago that has an Ultima Online profile or “persona.” What happens to both after the migration?

For older account and new accounts both, your player and account information is migrated separately. You will be able to link accounts to a EA Account as you desire. There is no merging of UO accounts during the migration.

The active account(s) will retain your billing information. As mentioned earlier for inactive accounts you will need to reenter payment information.



I’ve lost my user name and password on an inactive account, how do I reopen my account?

For current/active accounts passwords are obtained with email address and billing information. But for the inactive accounts Customer Support will require Email information, billing address, and any codes promotions, keys you might still have that were applied to that account.



I received my account from a friend/or other account change process. After the migration are they going to be able to reclaim that account?

No! Only the CURRENT user will be able to access his or her account with the current login credentials.

Has there been an update to the errors people get when they click an account from the drop down menu? Without getting into that page I'm unable to see or change the billing information. (Or add game time, Which I need to do.)

Greetings,

The update of Ultima Online to the new account center begins this afternoon.

Downtime for game servers begins 2:30 p.m. 9:00p.m. EDT. We expect the game servers to be down for a few hours and return this evening.

We will keep you updated as we have more information to share.

i know 12 Aug but it is before the yesterday post displayed maybe refreshed?
