I’m sure this doesn’t effect many... but is more for newer players, seeing easy gold can be made by collecting cotton from the 2 fields, selling it... or collecting the cotton and wool (from the 2 Yew pens, the Jhelom pen, and the Del area, then weaving them into bolts of cloth. Not to mention this is handy for FREE bandages, you sure wont make millions doing this. hehe
Oh... I honestly tell you guys how much this fix is so long over-due. A few years back, on the Japanese shards, they had this wonderful event/spawn... colorful spawning slimes that didn’t attack you, but you had to find them and could dye any cloth item from stacks of thread to pillows. These colors were the same as the AoS clothing and are the same as the magical weapon colors. Energy, cold, fire, and poison. From 100% damage down. Some of us imported this back to our US shards... and made bolts from the thread we dyed. Not that it was a horrible inconvenience, but it was a pain vs. the new way of self-stacking.
The same thing can be said about the mistake they made with the dread spider silk (minor quest). Spinning tons of “wool” into yarn... then using the looms to make bolts. It was a very profitable venture. If only this fix had happened back then.
THANK YOU DEV TEAM!
NOW... with the self-stacking bolts, they also fixed the thread... from cotton. No more taking all the stacks and putting them together. However... they FORGOT the yarn. Just thought I’d mention this in hopes they fix it. hehe.
With all the crashes of Atlantic with this new publish, I’ve been playing with non-monster spawn experiments. This was one of the tests of the new fixes.
