Just because you don't go there doesn't mean the devs should destroy every city except Luna.

There are like three dozen cities in UO and people use maybe three of them, tops. They can blow some up, even if a whole two people go there once a month.

Although you make a good point, the truly evil forces attacking places like Trinsic or Ver Lor Reg need to rethink their strategy and attack places that lots of players frequent. Where I do realize we've had thread after thread of people being upset about towns being raided, or "I got up to pee standing at the bank and came back dead SKREW YOU EA!!!! AHHHHHH /wrists" or whatever some people used to stand at the bank and go pee lots worse than dying would happen to them. Like oh where's my Vanquishing Axe?! WTF!?! OH MAN! MY AXE!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I didn't quit the game or go the forums flamin UO devs because I lost something that at that time was worth a lot to me, almost completely necessary even, but being upset a town gets raided by bad guys once a month or so to the point people have to claim they'll quit the game is a little outrageous. Completely blowing up a city happened, but we got another city back for it called New Haven. Yuck.

Hopefully with Ver Lor Reg getting destroyed, we can get a new expansion that brings Ilshenar into the spot light, and we get a new player race the Meer, and the big subject matter of the expansion is reclaiming it from Exodus' minions and the Meer can actually mark special meer only runes in Ilshenar that only meer and MEER MEER MEER MEER meow can use, in conjunction with special meer only tomes that only meer can make. I dunno, I should go drink a coffee and eat a cinnamon roll.
