New to Siege

Hi there, after tiring of the same old same on my home shard (Europa) and seeing the many 'Join Siege' books around I've decided to give it a go.

Just a few quick questions -
Where are the more popular places on Siege?
What's the best way to start? Character, template etc?
and what advice would you give to someone just starting out?

It's been a long time since I found myself in-game with no gold, no skill and little knowledge of my surroundings/fellow players so any advice would be greatly welcomed.

Join the NEW guild and they will help get you on join way here on Siege.

Welcome to Siege. I suggest playing the type of template you enjoy the most. The best thing a new player to the shard can do is get to know others, either by joining a guild, and/or joining in with general chat.

Don't start your character with any skill that's easy and not too boring to raise...including magery, I'll make sure you have an lcr suit, spellbook and whatever else you need...a lot of players will.

A community town is being established in Giltown right now. I'll leave it to others to explain where that is.

(I have had a lot of icq enquiries since beginning to place books on all shards, so I don't know who's who yet)

I just started here the other day!

Popular places, you should check out the player run 'town' South of Luna , plenty of topics about it here on this forum!

Other than that, Luna is the trading place to be.

Template.. Play what you prefer! Keep in mind that you can be attacked anywhere, and there is no recall etc.. so i guess magery is prefered , and you should train it first.

Other than that, tune into general chat, always people around willing to help !
