New to EC

I finally decided to give the E.C. a chance, any ways some problems i had are:

first if i casted a spell with a macro (hotbar) then went to dbl click on an icon that is in the hotbar i would not work so basically i would have to cast the spell two times before i get a cursor.
Example F1 macro heal, Dbl click Rising Colossal nothing happens, dlb click it again and then i get a cursor to place a R.C. hope this makes sense.

Another is the last spell macro is casting any last spell i use, even if its a macro I Cast. Is there any way so it does not use a macro as the last spell like the Classic Client

Example Double click Rising Colossal, F1 macro heal, Last Spell macro. In the CC the R.C. would be the last spell. In the EC the Heal is the last spell. I want the R.C to be the last spell.

When there is a icon/skill item spell inside your hotbar, Do not double click it, just single click it.

Also always make sure your target settings i set right. Summons best use Cursor as target setting and not current or self.

If you assign a hotkey to your hotbar macro, it avoids this problem with the double-click.

J.B., in the EC client hotbar spells are different than macro'd spells. If you have a macro in progress and start a second macro, the second macro cancels the first macro and may or may not continue. I think this is your issue with the last-spell macro. I haven't tried it but I think if you create a macro (not hotbar spell) for the RC and one for your heal spell, the last-spell macro should work the way you want.

thank you for the help, also is there a way to put icons in the black like the C.C.?

Also, is a way to type in game above head, guild, general? The only way i know how to in E.C. is to click on the little box click guild etc...

The first question, you can get close to what you are looking for by making a hot bar and shrinking it down to a single cell. Then you can move it anywhere you want.

The second question, I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. You can set the user option to use Legacy Chat, and it should operate just like the CC, or using EC chat, you hit enter first then start typing and hit enter when you are done with that sentence. Does that answer your question?

The reason I am trying out the Enhanced Client is because i like the idea of seeing a list of what is in a container such as a treasure chest. I can just get the gold and what other goodies i want and go on my way. Don't have to loot the worthless loot and spawn a damn greater dragon or something.

Just in case you haven't noticed yet (a lot of people miss this): you can right-click hotbar icons and the get a small menu to assign hotkeys, change the target (cursor, current, self, stored) and even generate more hotbars.
