How exactly is moving discussion of this stuff out of the most densely populated UO forum section (where this type of discussion has also been for many years; not counting off topic either) in such a sudden fashion a good idea?

I'll put this up on the front page as well to announce the new forum. Please keep in mind this is when publishes or fixes are introduced and testing feedback is essential. It does not exclude discussion elsewhere but it also highlights areas that the developers can focus on w/out having to sift through areas like Uhall.

I'm gonna take a stab at it and say the dense population of Uhall would be the problem they're trying to rectify.

No one wants to sift through many many threads about stuff you're not interested in, and with the release of patch 65 and them wanting to get the bugs out, it's probably best to have a seperate form where any threads stating bugs, problems, or suggestions, could easily be found for those who don't email.

I wondered this too. Since people are so accustomed to just getting information on UHall. Guess we'll have to see how it works out.

I agree, but maybe EA wanted to confine the test changes to a smaller area so they could review it more easily.
