New Tamed Phoenix

I took an disclosed amount of dirt naps taming this thing Sheez I died lot.
Thinking of Running Magery mastery, I'm on Atlantic so 110 scrolls are what the bank can afford.

Since it's a 4 slot I would go get another one because this one is so low in rating that it might be some kind of record.

It is rather sad that I died so many times to this lowly yard bird! he will be fed to a swampy.

Definitely find a 3 slot one....I put discord and inferno on mine it does decent damage... Wish it was 100 % fire damage though

Ya the 3 slot ones have so many points to use that you will probably run out of things to add.

110 Scrolls will be fine, including magery, pets don't whiff spells.

Ok tamed a new Bird, fed the old 4 slot 1.75 to him

Back when Pub 97 was on TC, you were able to add "Arcane Pyromancy" as a Magical Ability, which would have the pet cast Corpse Skin and Fire spells (Magic Arrow/Fireball/Explosion/FS) and it worked particularly well with the Phoenix.

But yeah, the Phoenix can be a surpisingly challenging tame, due to their high movement speed, rapid spellcasting, and their Fire Aura revealing you and flagging you to them. My Disco/Tamer uses a 120 Chiv+AI Frost Drake (100% Cold Damage) to farm them when looking for a good one.
