New spirits and ales {spoiler}

My friends have found 15 different types of booze so far. I read they were EM named. Did the names and hues go into one big pool shared on all shards or are they different on each shard?

The Red Eye Tavern was on Napa in the early years of the game. I remember many a good evening spent there.

Edit: The White Rose was also a tavern on Napavalley. Looks like they are named for Player Taverns.

They are added loot to sacking pirate and merchant ships. And they weren't stingy with them

We have gotten 16 different bottles and 2 of the bottles that you have we dont have AND we have a few that you don't have.. so it is looking like an expansive list ...

We have added additional loot to the Merchant ships, you will have a chance to get a white cloth dye tub and Liquor/Ale named after the shards (names provided by the EM’s)

It doesn't say in the patch notes, but the same loot drops (less frequently apparently) from pirate ships, as well.

On Legends, our crew has gotten three "Liquor Smuggler's Cache" containers - 2 metal chest, 1 wooden crate):

-- A Bottle Of White Rose Zinfandel
-- A Jug of Moonshine
-- A Jug Of Salty Dog Paws Mead

Each conatiner had about 20 items each and there was a "stack" of 2 or 3 in each one.

I quite often find myself watching global chat on Europa and wondering if I really was the only person that read the damn patch notes! Maybe if more people did, the dishonest ones wouldn't find it quite so easy to take advantage.*

Individual items 250k-500k.

Around there is fair. In a week. It will be half that.

If you see them individually for millions, well.. dont buy them.

In 30 days. 25k each. 250k a cache.

This is relating to my original question. I was actually kind of hoping they would be different names and hues on different shards. I thought about going into the importing buisiness for a bit. But it looks like the same drops are on all shards.

Some items are rare, and sell for the hell of a lot of gold. My issue is not with folks selling those truly rare items, but with those who take something that drops in boxes of around 30 or so and markets that as a rare, when it's really not. It's dishonest. There is a distinct line between fair price and rip off!

I understood your point.

I actually probably have the only gypsy moonstone ring on atlantic. No one wants to buy it for more then 20 million because it spawns 1-25000. They say it spawns.

I also have two sets of stacked MONDAIN commerative coins. This occured on the origin shard years ago when they patched. For like a day the mondain coins stacked. But there was an issue with other commeratives or something so the fixed it immediately. They will never happen again. Can't sell them cause people think its a trick.

My point is people will pay gold based on what they percieve and want immediately. Our what is hard for them to get.

I just wanted to give people a starting point for pricing and buying if the wish to use it.

I used to collect event items. It isnt even a matter of the item being rare that effects price. It is now the sheer volume of all event items that is dragging down prices. Soon there will be thousands of event items. Too many to even really collect. Too many to track. Too many to care about where they came from and if there are 10 or 100 of them.

I think we are in the age of EVENT ITEMS. Like all ages - ages end and give way to the new age. Lets hopes it is the age of discovery and exploration.


And yes honesty is rare in the world and even more so in a game.

I seem to remember seeing some that stacked, and being a little ticked that the rest didn't, but I was out with two other folks, so I just stuck all the crates in one crate, then put that in my hold so they could all grab some.

I can't get any to stack. These came that way. If I knew how to take and submit pics, I'd show you. Some are grouped as three bottles.

I have to admit, the no stacking thing on ALL of the available alcohol in game ticks me off immensely. It means I can only keep very small stocks of things used for cooking, or refilling egg nog, instead of just having it sat there ready to use. AND I have to fish around in my pack to find it. The chocolate stuff is on that annoyed with list as well.

Maybe it does..... I got one set of 2 off of something. Perhaps there is one set of 2 and then other singles in each chest.

Each chest should have one that is a double or triple and is deco only (non drinkable) while the rest in the chest are single, drinkable liquors.

didn't see it posted so FYI there may be new food as well as liquor. I got a stack of Salted Herring(looks like grey fishsteaks) from a pirateship, i'm assuming this is new, as well. Also you can tell the difference between liquors(drinkable or not) by the names . The drinkable ones have "a bottle of" in front of name.

My daughter and I were Pirate hunting a couple weeks ago and got a ship that had these fish steaks in the chests and crates. Very strange, never seen any that had this many since, no other food like usual, just these fish steaks and we've done a lot of pirate ships.

Thanks guys, I'm glad because I didn't want to kill the poor merchants. I still wish EA would make the merchants MERCHANTS and actually sell us stuff on the high seas, maybe rare stuff. Would be so cool.

I updated the OP with additional spirits found and reported. 23 total so far. We have around 50 crates of liquor now. Looks like the triple bottle/jug graphic is somewhat rare. We have three.
