Er... Not really.. Its a Live Event... They are going to make war against the Meer and we get to choose sides... Should be fiction tomorrow or next week (I hope).

We assume there will be a war, at least ... I didn't see the Meer camp though. Yet.

With the new war event, I hope that each side does not have a load of crap in their backpacks (like the bane did vs. the ophidians). Please don't put full loads of armor and weapons and junk in their packs - it makes it a pain in the arse to loot them.

Not if you use the EC client... mouse over and left-click to loot. So, it seems just fine to me.

Kk, I understand the Bane vs Ophidians. but I don't understand Meer vs Bane. The Meer helped the humans in a previous event. What is next? I see Bane vs Humans next and we won't have a choice.

The Bane are red, connoting evil karma mobs. Meer are blue – positive karma mobs. More importantly, the Meer have territory that the bane want. Hence, the war.

I hope not! I wouldn't mind getting the prize loot off the mobs.

I would expect Elves next - but it looks like it would be hard to set up the war zone when both Elf cities (Heartwood and Sanctuary) hide behind gate/server lines.

My guess is Gargoyles are next!

I talked about it in another thread, but, it's going to be interesting to see if negative karma chars are screwed here. I mean, it's a playstyle choice, sure, but will be impossible for most necros to side with Meer as a result.

Some of us collect that armor, imbue it, and dye it with natural dyes!

There is also a ratman spawn near the meer to. Also, don`t forget the fey in the neigborhood to. Although, I would love to see the Meer fight again.

Not really, you just have to kill higher karma critters before you stand with the Meer. Keep an eye on your karma and when it gets low, leave and kill Daemons for a half hour or so. Pain in the arse true but not impossible. Just leaves murderers out of this phase is all.
