new scribe question

I am putting scribing on my mule and am having problems getting started. I bought bulk regs, blank scrolls, some iron to tinker pens got a comfortable chair and a pepsi and thought I was good to go. So I d-click my scribe pen, see clumsy is lv 1 needs a blank scroll, bloodmoss, nightshade and mana to make. Ok cool, make now. "You do not have the required ingredents". I only have 70 mana is that the problem? Its all I can think of, im kind of stuck here any help appreciated. (the blood, nightshade scroll and pen are in backpack and im not overloaded)

The problem is, you dont have the spell.

To scribe a spell you need to have the spell in a book to copy. Get a full spellbook from somewhere first.

Oh, and dont feel bad, its not just new scribes that have this problem...i found out after almost a week of scribing and not understanding why i couldnt make the scroll!

lol funy thing is I had what I thought was a full spell book. I only have 61 spells in it and that was 1 of the ones that was missing, I knew it was somthing simple but it have me confused. Thanks a ton for the responce. Another quick question if I may, would wearing LRC, LMC items help out or does that not apply to scribing?

99% sure that LMC doesnt work. 100% LRC doesnt.

Youre best bet is to max out MR and get crafting.

LMC and LRC are not working for scribing and alchemy. I even tried out a 200% lrc-suit on a tc once. (I had a post in my mind of someone claiming that only lrc above 100 would work or that it was planned to do ... but it doesn't.)
