Being the last person in Melissa's room, it was only a matter of time before I died. After getting rezzed outside and running back in to fetch my corpse, I couldn't get passed the martoovehlkxrisspince portal. I tried with another character as well. I guess that's the end of it......

No kidding, a little Updated notice would of been great by our Community Rep/Community Coordinator. I like many was under the impression Tue was the last day. (Directly from FOF 8/1/08)
. I personally thought the job of any Community Rep/Community Coordinator was to INFORM the community of Events, Parties, Cancellations, important happenings, etc... Must be all these yrs I have been wrong
But again, what can we expect from EA/Mystic, Representatives that actually tell us important information in advance! Not the 1st time we have not been told something & won't be the last I am sure

That must have been very frustrating, you have my sympathy.

I have heard this Melissa thing has been going on for 3 weeks before EA shut it down today. (It just got my attention 5 days ago.) Since Jeremy said the next event is 3 weeks away, it makes me wondering if they shut it down because the Casca and Melissa quests are too popular and too easy. Normally it is 6 weeks between two publishes. They have to shut it down because it gets too popular. And now we don't have anything new in the next 3 weeks. Normally I play about 8 to 10 hours of UO every month but I have played 30 hours of UO in the past week! I have become a bad customer from the best customer EA ever had. (I have paid EA monthly fee without any interruption since day 1 in 1997. Even in a dry period of 8 months, I only logged to renew my 10 houses and played 2 minutes a week.)
