New on shard: what do you usually need?

This is thread for people and especially governors/guild leaders who want their shard to be more populated. What are you searching when making a new toon on shard. Add what you often need being new, poor, having no crafters , no house and no money there yet? My Vendor Search list is:
1. Cheap LRC gear. Human and gargish? Can be antique or cursed. If price for whole 100% LRC suit is within starting 1000gp - awesome. I need this first. To get my mage and make runes for all my other future toons. Thanks for all who put such gear on vendors for free or 20-50 gp per..
2. Runic Atlas and runebooks
3. Mage weapon -29 to -20 or wands from treasure chests.
4. Alter contracts : tailor and blacksmith.
5. Fishing poles, especially Spell channel ones. (frost wood)
6. Cheap imbued armor and weapon for warrior. Daisho, black staff, leaf blade, radiant scimitar, double axe, katana. please readers post what else?
7. Imbued rings. I do 7STR, 7DEX, 13 HCI, 13 DCI, 22 DI. What else?
8. Arcane charge clothes :robe, boots.
9. Quivers, just cloth ones. To have arrows insured
10 Talisman (bovine slayer)
11. Exceptional instruments
12. Cheap HP regen looted weapon and armor (to train Parry with sheeps, then throw away.) Brittle is great.
13 Butcher War cleaver
14. Recall, Mark and Gate scrolls. Spellbooks; mage, necro, mystic, chiv etc.
15 Bag of sending and powder of translocation
16. trap boxes, Crystal ball of knowledge, bronzed Valkyrie armor (if it is cheap)
17. Book of masteries. Primers, of course. LVL 1-2 which are cheap. Please guys don't throw them but put on vendors if you have house. Especially 1 level need for skill training : Mysticism, Taming, Ninjitsu



When I go to New Magnicia I am searching for vendors :
1- Resource purchase shops. To make my first several mil while training skills.
2- Swamp dragons for my future warrior
3- Giant (Blue) Beetle if I plan to have crafters there.

Weapons: I see longswords, broadswords, and bladed staffs used a lot as well. (Bladed staffs as a companion piece to the double axe. Switch from whirlwind to armor ignore depending on the situation.)

I actually haven't seen much arcane gear of late but I guess I wouldn't -- they're probably using it to cast some quick buff then going back to normal equipment.

Not sure if it will help you or not. You can probably ignore everything past the first sheet. At this point, I can't remember what I had planned for the other sheets.

Rummaging through some of my other old spreadsheets, these were some items I plopped in a spreadsheet at one time as items that could be put on vendors to sell mostly just as "basic" stuff and prices I was thinking of charging at the time: (Note on prices: These prices were probably too low and if you tried to use them on Atlantic or some other shards, you'd probably find your vendor constantly wiped out and the items being resold for a higher price elsewhere on the shard.) Sorry they are in kind of random order. I haven't played much the last couple of years and I'm really not sure how good or useful the pricing information is. And by now there are probably additional items that could be added and maybe some items just aren't useful/needful anymore. However, maybe this will point out some items you hadn't considered. I'm sure others will have some good feedback for you. I pretty much just log in anymore to feed the fish and tend the plants and empty out the shields/paintings/flower carts.

@Cinderella War cleavers are 5000-15000 go on some shards. Not a big difference if you have millions in your account but huge one when you just started fresh

@Rubber Superior thanks, added. Forgot about those. BTW recall scrolls are real moneymaker for new player. Buy them in Necro shop in Haven (or me in TerMur), sell in a mage School in Haven. Repeat till prices are equal. On ATL you can make 50gp+ per scroll.

and the last time I bought a butcher's war cleaver was in 08

I do know it takes a large gem
and since the stackable items are deleted at idocs
prices for stuff has risen

Besides all the basic supplies it's people be it guilds or players who invite new folks for toof runs net tosses etc i really felt the yukio event chain was perfect for making a new character on another shard

Your prices are quite old. Valkyrie armor you can buy with 5k gp. While kelp leggings can be sold at 5M gp.
Rest of stuff you posted are for later game. Pads of Cu side you need when have 100+ taming. Good if you can buy them on named shard. But you need such stugf after you have some skills /crafters. And gold.

Aim of this post was to remind those who already live on shard for long time to keep their vendors restocked. Otherwise I and people like me will come, find raising a toon here too complicated and go play somewhere else.

I used to give every poor beginner mage I met a standard scrapper's compendium. If you have a couple spare ones, can't hurt to throw them in the mix.
