Just killed my 100th Killer Pumpkin. I was going to use the necro method but don't have necro sooooo... I went with mage summon method.
100 Wrapped Candys
264 fertile dirt
100 misc gems
1 jewel item kept (ring 1FC/2FCR blank)
13 Deamon masks
20 Evil Clown masks
9 Plague masks
odds are .42 in 1 for recieving a mask using throwing/tact/anatomy method
2 ways used for getting pumpkins;
1st and fastest way was to take over one farm area (I used the one in far NE Moonglow)- cast summon creature, kill said creature, drop pumpkins in corpses till all gone, then wait for respawn. I kept 4 corpses on the screen about every 3 mins apart. Then I tossed fresh pumpkins on the corpse that was gonna decay the soonest. Depending on the area its hard to keep up with the running around, so learn to place your corpses in 4 corners. This gave me an average of 4 Evil Pumpkins every 15 mins.
After 50 Evil Pumpkins killed I then switched ways of gathering;
2nd more slower way was to make a runebook (already made from last year) of every farm and pumpkin spawn area I knew. Then I gated and ran around all the areas looking for random spawning pumpkins. Keeping in mind im competing with everyone else on the shard, I was averaging 1 Evil Pumpkin every 10 mins.
Server up (6 am my time) was absolutely awesome. Every one of my rune locations had 1-5 Evil Pumpkins at it. I did not add the server up time into my gating to areas method time averages.
This was conducted on the shard Siege Perilous. I ran into 7 other people while doing the gating method with no issues. I had 5 other people visit the farm I was farming and only issue was someone coming in and taking a evil pumpkin from me while I was dealing with one already spawned.
