Congratulations to the winners and condolences to the folks who really wanted a plot and didn't win. Not having bid on anything, I was of course not greeted by a gump.
Wonder what's gonna happen to the poor folk on other shards whose ticket doesn't show a shard name but instead shows some weird "area 51" or "area 47" notation or how someone's gonna explain how some people won a ticket for a facet where they didn't buy one. Hope that doesn't happen on Siege.

BUT im interested in buying a couple plots but not for some obsene amount considering its a 15x15 and im dropping a keep lol

I didn't win any of em..anywhere. I was interested to hopefully win those closer to the one garden area, the N 1-3 plots or the C's or possibly for my Hughes, the ne coastline ones but .......4 accts. of tickets and won nothing nowhere.
I am depressed...took my plants that matured, off the island, and took them home with me since I won't be no gardener house there, to replant the island, since I didn't win one for Miranda, nor for any of my chrs.@!
And I blew enough gp tryin to win, didn't so I do not plan to get in some bidding war over buyin plots ... let the billionares own em all.

So I am now gonna go HERMIT, introvert, no one will even find me, and go move to live where the po' depressed peeps, go live and probably fish from a shack on bucs den or somewhere, if even a 7x7 fits on serverline HELL !

Am I the only one that finds it odd that some people won 2 plots while others won nothing? Not just that but the ones that won multiple plots have their plots very close to each other. Coming from someone who plays a lot of online poker, sounds like a funky RNG to me!
Thats the beauty of randomness. Its a cruel mistress. If you can play the odds, with enough money, then you can make that mistress less cruel

I have used ~2 million gcs and I used them all on the western plots.
Some things look strange, indeed, but I don't know if the system really is bugged or if it's just luck. And I don't know if everything what people post in the forum is really true. So nobody really knows.

It makes me less surprised too because I am used to a bugged RNG. Not saying that's what happened here, just extremely odd that multiple people won multiple plots that were adjacent, or very close to each other, that's all. I think it is quite probably that certain people buried an awful lot of money into just 2-3 plots close to one another.
Aye... I won one 10k ticket house, which just so happened to be next to the 2k ticket house I dumped a bunch of money on.
I waited until the final hours, and dumped more money on the location that had the least amount of sales, thereby increasing my odds.

If you don't want to take part in something and/or don't agree with it then simply ignore it.I went for the event and thats it. Got sleeves and a book. Havent been back since... not even to see whats changed.
Didnt spend one gold on anything... Hope they burn that place to the ground again and you only lose money. Rebuild it back to the place it was.
Already people who had no intrest in multible plots have their wallets open harping for money. Sell Sell Sell.
Place will be a ghost town... Honestly hope those who got multible houses watch them fall and not get taken. Im sure Mag will be full for a year or so as its the new flavor for the day.
Now we'll sit back and watch the new owners try to decide if its worth losing 1000's of lockdowns for a garden and a guard zone.
Drop the castles and keeps people. Time for those of us that want better spaces to enjoy the fruits. IF you are one of those people who are keeping track of names, then DONT buy house spots outside of Mag. Let them decide which they want and burn in the glory of greed. Either the Mag plot will open free or cheap, or the castle/keep plot will open free or cheap. Again watch those names and posts.

Bucs Den never really had good plots for houses... Now, between Minoc and Vesper upon the road there are many plots for such lonely people. Yeah, even North of my tomblike house are good fishing spots where you can place a ship and sail forth. Oh, there is one serverline close to the East bridge of Minoc. If I am a hermit, and it does seem to fit me, try not placing too close.*sigh*

Aye Bucs Den never really had room for more than tiny homes, but I am often ON Bucs Den simply cuz I like it a lot, also.
I have often been fond though of island homes islands with somewhat of a town on em like Serp Hold or Ocllo etc.
thus a New Magincia plots appealed to me to try to win a plot,
but to win mostly, just to go fishin, but [not] cuz I wanted vendors there
per say, nor because it became,
an all new Guard Zoned island.
Normally I have 2-3 homes here, and 1 mostly for storages, there,
or 2 and 2 per shard, on my 4 active UO accts.
I even bought a lot of tickets fel side Ches. which originally I had no intentions of buyin said tickets cuz SIEGE is all felucca.
But most of the plots I had wanted [here or there] on New Magincia
seemed to have so many tickets bought, per plot.
So you would think, slappin lots of tickets on the nearly
felucca ignored plots there, with only 90 or less tickets bought on a few plots,
would garner me, at least ONE, won, plot even, but nooooooooo !
The ol' RNG was not on my side.
When ya do your next census, my 2 Siege homes,
atm are now on the lakefront @ Gravewater Lake.
The other morning, depressed at losing the lotto,
I [comically] yelled, in game chat...
"SHUN THE NON BELIEVERS !!
If ya need my heavy powder charges RISK buyin em way out here,
or just do without or go buy em in New Magincia.
This is Siege, some of us, live FAR from Guard Zones.
The GZ it is NOT', why I even wanted to win, a plot, on New Magincia."
The eavesdroppers reading, in game chat flooded,
my new front yards the other morning after I said:
SHUN THE NON BELIEVERS etc.
COM was attackin MINAX in my new yard, oh the violence.
And some stalkin thief come by also, and ripped off a white pearl
my guild mate had just fished up, off my new porch, in Gravewater Lake,
too just then.
None of us was hidden out there, cept for the unseen the stalkin stealthin, Siege thief and even he showed him self after abscoundin' the white pearl.
My new Siege front yards suddenly, had become, utter violence, thievery,
and mayhem !! * I even had a cross dressin Lord, out there in a dress* lol
My depressed mood at losing the lotto, became rapidly & vastly improved.
I was feeling all kinds of warm and fuzzy inside, again !!! LOL
