I'm not as attached to the word 'sim' as others who have been playing forever.

Usually I;m hear screamin - 'where's me body' after the kids have *rather rudely* interrupted my gaming *tuts*

Midge is growing on me, too.
But not literally.

When I first started playing, I couldn't figure out how to make chat bubbles.
I kept telling my husband, "My person can't talk!"

He thought I had lost it.

I like Meeps too. If we get somehow get banned from writing anything that contains "SIM" when chatting in game, I am totally calling myself a Meep. And changing my Sims name to Beaker.

No reason to freak out over a silly thing like not calling my mofo a sim anymore.

At least I'm not dead yet. thats how I look at it.

I'm not a fan of "meeps" I hate "Peeps" those stupid ducky marshmallows.

I think there is already a "Meep" in one of the Pogo.com games. Maybe you better check with them before settle on "Meep." Wouldn't want a lawsuit, would ya??

Any simulated pixel is a sim to me.. no matter what game it is. I usually call all of you peeps..



If they need to change the name..hey gotta do what ya GOTTA do.. stop whining already peeps.. lol

That is so, so true: we shouldn't complain about this! I'm really happy that EA is letting us decide what term to use for the money system, since apparently "Simoleons" isn't allowed anymore (although it was perfect). We should be glad -- not upset! -- that they are actually letting us give our input AND vote on the new term for Sim-money.

Still, I'll always call our pixellated people "Sims." Always!

I don't have to call my little sim a sim, I just don't really like meep or avatar.

I think it is a shame a better name was not given to EALand. A name with some creativity, a name all our own, then it would be easy to name our little sims and our money. I guess we could be come Eaers or the girls could be EAetts and the guys EAduetts.

This whole argument sounds like folks worrying about a government crackdown on preventing anyone from calling good ol' greenbacks anything but what's officially printed on the currency: Dollars.

Folks have been callin' 'em bucks, smackaroos, dough, bread, mullah, BillyBucks, etcetera for ages, and will continue to do so.

Simoleans, Maxi$bux...TSO, EAaaarrrggGHHhhLand...Sim, Avatar...Sahara, Parizad...Janitor Roy, Spanky...George H., George W....whatevah...
