The plans that they have laid out are obviously not what the majority have been asking for, BUT.... we now know that the devs are willing to create a new shard, and this can be a HUGE opportunity for the players . The shard isn't finished, I can't imagine them not being open to some constructive criticism. I suggest that we use this thread to show them what the player base has really been craving. I only ask that we keep the complaints and trolling away from this thread and make a very simple list of what we'd like to see and pray that the devs read it with an open mind a willingness to listen to those that are passionate about the game.
What I'd like:
1. Old school weapons/armor (no stats, bring back power, vanq, ruin, etc)
2. Old school combat
3. Order vs. Chaos
4. No artifacts, this prevents power creep and would ensure that crafting is always valuable.
5. No insurance, allows for a constant demand for player crafted gear
6. No shard reset, no shattering
