New idea for bards

Would be great for bards to have a faster play ability based upon there skill levels. And that there would be some instruments that have a fast play/fast recover for instruments

100 bard skill-5% faster play

110 bard skill 10% faster play

120 bard skill 15% faster play


ya or nay?

As a bard I really like the idea.

But...

It would be over powered. As is they reduced the skill timers on some barding. Fails use to invoke a longer skill timer. And back then I found it...O.K.

Maybe a music skill mastery song that reduces the timer at a mana cost/upkeep?

Ya but if you look at bardic abilties as "spells" then it seems like it should be granted to us. To me the song is kinda long. Its like looking at a mage thats 0/0 casting vs 2/6 casting. Noticeable difference. Maybe give us like 1/2 second up to 1 full second off the play sound. But that got me thinking of the 4/6 casting days. Imagine how sick that would be?
A 4/6 (fp/fpr) bard? That would be so sick it would be funny.
