New Dyes In Action

Here is a pic of the new dyes applied to some items. It's not extensive at all, but with only 1mil points on test I could only buy one of each dye.

Polished Bronze is on the half apron
Glossy blue is on the jester hat
Black and green is on the robe
Deep violet is on the shield

I like the green as well. I don't think any of them look bad either. They all from what I can tell have the glossy look similar to Europa Gold, and if they weren't so expensive I could see alot of people using them.

On cloth it looks pretty good. Looks like velvet. But the shield looks terrible. Why must every good idea be accompanied with a bad idea? Too much cake.

Don't like the glossy blue on the Kasa, too shiny...purple is nice, green is deep but nice..overall not too shabby.

Blue on Kasa, Purple on Shield, Green on apron, Brown on Robe.

for the amount of points for those dye it should have been a dye tub not a 1 use item...

Well I think for the simple fact that it's fairly easy to get points if you farm like..leather..with all the trick or treating I've been doing I've gotten around 20k points just from candy and the minor rare items like the murky milk and such...points are not hard to get so I think the price is fair for them.

Well Trick or Treating twice around luna and then the million refugees' in Ter Mur you rake in ALOT of candy lol, at least 30-40 pieces of each per round, times a million rounds a day ( I really want as much halloween cloth as I can get!)

So yeah it adds up!

And the Murky Milk, Mr. Plain's cookies, Pumpkin Pizza and harvest wine are 50 turn in points a piece.

Mmm, that blue looks pretty nice. It could have been a bit darker and more blue-blue but it is still pretty nice looking.

Less they changed Test you should be able to test out plenty of color options there as well. Is the blue out on prodo yet?

The blue looks very nice on weapons I think. None of the colors really interested me though.. Looking forward to the next batch of colors.

I'd also like to see 2% resist sandals added with the 2% resist boots. Boots are ugly! Also, maybe an underwear design? Like colors or designs. Polka dot, stripe etc.

These are the four colors added to the Cleanup system and have been out since Pub 73.

However they were supposedly going to change monthly but we haven't seen the next batch of colors yet though and it's been almost 2 months.

Sorry. I just cant see using up all those clean up points for something so silly. I'd rather just cash them all up for item bless deeds, save all the armor.

I grabbed the Black and Green dye since they are 5 shots each and it's VERY close to the Compassion Green dye which is much more limited.

Now I'm waiting to see what other colors come next as I have plenty of points stocked for the colors I want. The Bless deeds are ok, but not really on my list.
