Hmm, Should be a cave lurking around in the sea called Captain Quaklebush's Tomb or Captain Quaklebush's Locker or something.. and should have some good fishing spots in it, and some good boat only content.. and in fel, it should have a pirate champion spawn event! And Captain Quaklebush's ghost should be the Champ!

Maybe put it in Ilshenar! That facet needs some love too ya know.
Also. Shouldn't have to be an expansion or anything, just make it about the size of like a current dungeon like Despise or Destard, and have some spawn going on both foot and boat. Make it accessible only by High Seas boat and no recalling in and out, would get more people to get the High Seas booster if some kind of funding is needed I thinks. Hopefully this gets some love and we'll bump into eachother in Captain Quaklebushes Locker! ARRRR!

Captain Quaklebush's boat could be a rare drop, and one could be same quality as like an Orc Ship, and the other could just be like a house deco item! And he level 6 or 7 or whatever the highest level TMAPS have a chance to drop from the spawn like SOA's And SOT's do from doing a normal champ in ilsh or fel or tokuno.

OOOOh.. And cloaks with pirate skulls on them (might be asking too much).. Or labeled.. maybe even give them an odd mod so it doesn't have to be like a apron thing like Tangles or Crimson Cinctures. I dunno. Just hoping something cool like that give some creative jiggles to whoever makes UO stuff!

I would love to see this put into the game,and I'd love to see more content added to Ilshinar. Think about how fun it would be if the ilsh champ spawn was paragon. Would his ship be really fast?

Actually for a short time after Paragons were introduced, the champions could rarely spawn as a Paragon.. my old guild WILD (god rest it's soul, loved that guild), took on Semidar (Paragon) and we won! This was before Greater Dragons and such.. we had 2 tamers with a nightmare and runebeetle combo, and some regular dragons and nightmare combos.. and straight mages. THAT was a rough couple of hours.

Honestly, it would make more sense. I’ve often wondered why there isn't a common dungeon, connected to High Seas, that offers a pirate adventure that anyone with the upgrade can enter.

I mean… think about it. One of my favorite rides at Disneyland was Pirates of the Caribbean. (Back before it was a movie nightmare theme). Why not have caves and treasures, and even parts of a town overrun with pirates? Ahhhh… back when you could buy an “E Ticket”.

I'd see the whole thing in a dungeon... and its not like any dungeon is tied to any ruleset of whatever land its in. They are off those maps.

For that matter, this kind of reminds me of the poor old brigands… that have no other reason to be then to hang around a camp all day. They used to spawn around houses too, harassing you as you work… but that’s all. No dungeon for them. No boxes. No specialists. All for being little nasty monsters that they are.

One of the biggest reasons I was so disappointed with High Seas is just that… these floundering enemy ships. Soon as you fire the first shot, they flip around like a newly caught fish thrown on a dock, ripping your ship up for a few handfuls of ore.

Well, I'm poopin all my ideas out, anyone else have anything nifty to add? I love the High Seas boats, and blowing up pirate ships, and getting pieces of an orc ship etc.. but it's kinda.. well, a bit on the repetitive side now; and getting way more than boring. Still though, like in the middle of a shame romp, I think Hmmm... now seems like a good pirate capturing time and head that way.

Location-wise I would like to have it not to far from Bucaneers Den. Would make sense, with Bucs being the pirate capital and all.

The boss should drop those stuff that should have been in High Seas. Like peg legs and the ability to have parrot on your shoulder (talisman slot).

The idea of a water-based champ spawn never caught on, which, I assume is a result of coding trouble. Not sure. Just did a Charybdis the other day on Chesapeake and I have to say it's the hardest sea battle I've seen thus far. The beast itself isn't that much of a challenge but it creates wave and wave of tentacles...and waves, haha, and the tentacles die fast but pack a punch.

Hm. But anyway, they never made an Elemental-based Champ spawn, and they ought to one day.

I think that this would be a great idea. They added a way to get more ingredients with Shame it would be nice to put them to use. Also it would be interesting to have an elemental spawn.

And also, on the subject of High Seas stuff.. Can pirate loot like the actual Pirate himself get a bump up in loot intensities? (Or maybe have like a chance for something other than a white dye tub occassionally in the boxes?)
