Can you put a clothing bless deed on the new 2% resist boots from the clean-up? The only mod on the boots is the resist.

CBD's can be used on items with resists, just not magical mods. (for instance, you can exceptionally craft any hat and CBD it) I'm curious of this as well but dont have CBD's to try it out on.

This is what I had heard too. I wanted confirmation before I sink money into a CBD. I've got the points to turn-in, but don't want to redeem them before I can secure my shiny new boots. Of course, if the clean-up system is permanent, then maybe it doesn't matter. I wish they Dev team would confirm one way or the other.

Just realized this was the siege forum, so I'm not sure about blessing. You can alter the boots.

Have you actually tried it on siege? Just want to make sure it's a actual confirmation and not just based on what others have said, I'd try it myself but 500k is a bit much for just a test.

Weird, any other slot with just resists you can bless (clothing slots, not armor slots) Either something special with shoes or there's a hidden/unused magic stat on the shoes

What part of NO dont you people get?

No means No... NOTHING with resists or ANY mod can be "Item/CBD" blessed on Siege P.

In the past there was a few older items that got thru the net and they have had the CBD removed from them. Some still have been hid away and if seen they will be removed as well. This includes ANY item that had a ITEM bless deed placed on it was well, the deed was removed and destoryed and the owner was replaced with NOTHING.

Rapture please post some screenys of ANY item that has made it thru the removable net, im sure myself and a few Dev's would like to see them. If your stating that theres stuff around with player blessed mods you SURELY have a few or one right?

yeah, my jesters hat

CBD's work on any clothing items so long as they dont have magic properties, resists do not count as magic properties so long as the total is under a certain amount (you can't bless the artifact jesters hat with just resists from vesper) Any of those that were blessed were removed, this hat was blessed AFTER all those items were removed.

The resist is the special. Shoes are not crafted with resists, so the additional resist on the shoes make it ineligible for CBD.

The rule for CBDs is not 'anything with resists only,' it's anything within max normally crafted resists. Thus Gypsy Headdress is ineligible because it has more resists than a typical crafted hat of the same type. As noted above, footwear does not include resists when crafted, thus the addition of resists on them precludes them from being able to be CBDable.

I am SOOO sorry, I assumed that NORMAL CBD's items that could be blessed wouldn't need to be mentioned to someone of your playerhood.

Stupid me. I was hoping for the screeny of the other one you never take out and might be afraid to lose. I'll be more specific next time.

Thanks for the confirmation. Just want to be smart with my gear. I'm still trying to get used to suits on Siege. I like to PvM to the max... But I die a fair bit to monsters doing that. They don't give me the option of a rez and selling me back my gear.
