The Booze has an Easter Egg....

Here are somei have seen/heard about

1) Char proclaims "i am not wasted" (my newbies flashes back)
I shall sing you a song.. my char sang "New Maginicia"
and "Good End Game" and a friend sang "stones"


2) Char proclaims: "oo its hot in here" and clothes go into bag


3) you get "You are going to be sick"
the char say "oops"
and you barf a slime monster on the ground.


4) You are getting sleepy
Zzzzz zzzz
You wake up groggy.

5) I am Free... and tunic, robe and pants fall off.

But that's the thing, this cuts out the entire RP bit. You're now forced into what the devs determined is appropriate for drinking :/ What if my character can hold his ale? What if this *isn't* how my character acts when drunk? What if he just becomes super-friendly?

Not Really. you can use it or not..

If want to play a "i can hold me liquar" you can stick to the old stuff. I think new stuff gives a bit of "Flavor" to it.

There is a crapload of booze in game now.. the pirate/merchant booze, homemade "moonshine" and the old standby. Just give you more to play with.

As my favorite College teacher would say when ask his opinion on something.

"Opinions are like buttholes, we all have one and they usually stink."

Well... I suppose I can be thankful of two things.....

1) I am refusing to purchase the incomplete new boosters.

2) My main RP char is "forbidden" to drink alcohol.

hmm Drank some Pirate booze the other day and this didnt happen.

More testing is needed.

LOL i didnt buy booster either. A friend made me some booze and then i found some at bank.

But if all booze is doing it then it could be a bad thing for RPers. Still had a great laugh.

All i can say "Have fun with it." Look at for what it is worth...... A GOOD LAUGH.

I don't think I'd mind it so much if it was a tiered thing. I don't have to actually drink the liquor in-game to rp it out... emotes are fine, but I think it would have been used more if it was the drunk reactions were tiered. From sip to streaking doesn't sound very reasonable, nor fun.

Yeah, completely not impressed with the new "drunk" emotes, as I'd prefer to do these myself - not be forced into adolescent idiocy.

Why they bothered to waste time that they obviously couldn't afford on this bewilders me. They should have used those precious minutes adding in the missing booze types. Wait, sorry, I forgot who coded this there for a moment... Not minutes, probably more like hours to several days.

i personally think the addition on brewing drinks is awsome and the unexpected emotes are too to me its the coolest thing bout the new "boosters".Different strokes for dif folks people just cuz u dont like it doesnt mean someone else doesnt think its awsome...no reason to grill the devs cuz u personally arent excited about a new addition that plenty of others love...its constant complainers like u that make the devs scared to try new ideas.

Plenty of people aren't excited by these boosters. Just look at New Magincia for an explicit example of how poorly they have sold.

And, FYI, the vast majority of people have differing opinions if you haven't noticed. Yours is no more or less valid than mine, though your personal attack does taint it.

Welcome to Stratics.

We complain because we care. We don't wish to have sub-par goods and services worked on (then sold to us) while the rest of the game suffers. They Dev Team aren't scared to 'try new ideas,' they simply don't bother to adequately test them. Focus test them, to be more accurate.

The PvP changes will be a good barometer of how far they are willing to take input from a relatively focused group in the future. Sadly, however, their failure to communicate with the community of p(l)ayers prior to the mini packs has cost them. Accept that.

still completely stand by what i said and dont think i personally attacked anyone,unless ofc u are admit to being one of the constant complainers...LOL u reprinted my whole comment maybe u should re-read it.I simply made the same point that dif folks like dif stuff simple as that u dont like the new brews i do..pretty straight forward.While i agree the new boosters arent anything special.I thought we were specifically discussing the brews here which i do think are cool brewing my own drinks and naming them is cool to me.I see no prob with that or why u should either.

The new booze emotes make you act like what a six-year-old thinks drunks act like. I really don't even care if they want to mong up the new booze they just added with this nonsense, but they didn't need to break all booze in the game.

I think it's all pretty funny myself but, then again, I don't roleplay. Perhaps a way to toggle it on/off would be helpful?
