Just a heads up when you are getting BOD's you can get your whole days worth at once now and bribe the smiths too

You can also go to the right column of the main UO Stratics page, look for the links to Calculators, and pick the smith or tailor BOD calculator.

You can check the reward for a BOD, or put in a reward to see which BODs give it.

When upgrading armor bods, have you had any Normal of a particular color upgrade to exceptional of that same color? The only ones I tried upgraded all the way to Valorite before upgrading the normal to exceptional.

I think it's random. You can get upgraded amount, quality or color. (I'm not sure)

it appears to be semi-random, actually. Most of the time it goes material (up to max), then count), then quality last. But, at other times, it seems to go totally random. Perhaps material change is the highest probability, and that paired with the RNG streak tendencies makes it seem more common than it is (after all, you can only change quality once, and count 1-2 times, when there can be 8 material upgrades)

IF there's a rhyme or reason for the differences, I've not seen it yet.

You guys are right. I confirmed with a test on some tailor bods where one upgraded to a 15 count exceptional from a 15 count normal sbod. Others upgraded color until it was barbed, then number to 20, then quality to exceptional.

I'm not sure if it's more likely to upgrade quality or count, but it certainly seems like color is the most likely upgrade.
