New Bard/Archer needing template help!

I quit UO like 7 years ago and now I'm back but everything's so different, was wondering if anyone could help me out with a bard/archer template. I would have gone with something including...

archery
tactics
provoke
music
anatomy
healing
resist

I've noticed some bard/archers having Chivalry and Focus.. I'm not familiar with these skills.. is it better to go with those than healing/anatomy? Also is resist necessary, along with picking up peacemaking? What about stats?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I would suggest dropping provoke for disco. Disco is an AWESOME skill, especially for an archer template.

Resist isn't as necessary unless you feel that being poisoned (among others) is really annoying..

Instead of resist, I'd suggest Chivalry (as you mentioned) so you can use Enemy Of One, Close Wounds, etc. But I would suggest capping Chivalry at 85 since you can get most of what you need at that level.

Resist was great for me when I was getting used to the game after a 6 year break. But I dropped it like a bad habit as soon as I got to the point that I realized that nothing would hurt me so long as I could keep one step ahead of whatever it was I was attacking.

So for a bard, resist isn't that great.

What I have for my not-used-enough Europa-bard is discord, music, fencing, tactics, healing, anatomy and some chivalry. People will love you if you're a disco-bard. People will only like you if you're a provoke bard. It's possible and fun to be both, but then you'd be dropping a more useful skill like healing (not really needed if you have provoke and chivalry).

For my Archer Bard I run the following:

120 Music
120 Provoke
120 Discord
120 Peacemaking
115 Archery
100 Tactics
65 Chivalry

Quite a powerful template.

Can you explain your 760 point total? Items?

How do you heal? Are you 4/6 chiv?

Not 4/6, not even close. If I ever need to heal, I peace (area or targeted), and close wounds. If you know how to control your area / spawn properly, it's very rare that you'll take damage, and even rarer you'll die.
