New Account Code Issues.

Im not sure if im in the right place or not but if anyone could help or guide me in the right direction i would be greatful.

I am trying to join UO but im having some problems. Iv started by going onto the UO website and clicking on the tab "Stores" and then "UOGameCodes" to purchase a new account code for Mondains Legacy. These are the instructions given :-

Account Creation Code

1. After purchase, you will receive an email with your Account Creation Code.
2. Go to www.ultima-registration.com and click on the "CREATE ACCT" button. Create a new EA.com account by clicking on "Don't have an EA member account?" Follow the on screen instructions.
3. Enter the Account Creation Code when prompted. Follow the on screen instructions.
4. The process is complete. Log into Ultima Online and you'll have access to all Mondain's Legacy content.

The first step to take is to purchase the the game code. The second step is to go to the website and create an account.

So step one first - purchase the Account Creation Code by clicking on add to cart to purchase "Ultima Online™: Mondain’s Legacy New Account Code". Once i had clicked add to cart the first page loaded requests i verify my UO account by entering my account name and password before i purchase, but hold on a moment ... isnt creating an account the second step on the list?? So immediatly i face a problem.

The obvious next step would be to create an account following step 2 and then purchase the Account Creation code following step 1 but when i come to enter my account name and password when purchasing i find that it doesnt exist although it clearly does as i filled in the form moments before and had my application accepted. What do i do now??

So if anyone could help me from here or could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Looked at this a bit, and I've never been thru it, so could be completely wrong

I think the very first step might be to create an EA Member account, which I'm not really clear on whether that would also be your UO game login or not..... go to UO home page, go to account management and then click 'create an account' and you get this page:

so you click 'don't have EA Member account' and it takes you here:

so I'm just making sure that you did this part, then we'll see if we can help with the rest of it, tho I should warn you up front that there have been problems in the past with the gamecodes store page not recognizing account names

I did make an EA account which it requests on step 2 and it was through the pages you have shown above but when i come to purchase i have to verify my account but it doesnt recognise me. I have made 2 accounts just to make sure it wasnt something i had done and again it didnt recognise me. Im also incontact with my cousin who is currently trying to buy the game in the same manner and is having exactly the same problems. It shouldnt be this difficult so i must simply be missing something.

What i have considered is starting an account using the free 14 day trial and then upgrading it to mondains legacy instead of purchasing a new account code. Do you think that may work?

Yeh hopefully they will sort something out or atleast give better instructions. Thank you very much for your help.

After typing the CC Information, the CC is accpeted also have old activated with this card.
