New 2 THEME PACKS coming up for sale : House/Bank storage increase included ?
I still likely wouldn't buy them even if they each doubled storage. I will for dog gone sure not buy either of them until after the following booster pack is released and I know what collection of garbage they will wind up being.
Only booster I'm really interested in is one that will clean High Seas completely out of my accounts. I'd pay a lot for such a booster. To have the High Seas slime pack cleared off of my accounts would be a dream come true.

I've seen no mention of any housing increase in any of the official posts.
But that being said, how much do you think each theme booster should increase your housing storage?
And don't forget that soon we will likely have a summer clean-up event which should make room in many people's homes.

I don't care if housing storage were doubled either I'm not buying either one of them until they make the one UN-ugly....... that rustic one is ugly as sin.... and they FINISH both of them... by adding doors, floors, and foundations.... If I'm going to Pay money for house tiles it better be a complete set.... I don't care WHAT they put in with it to make it cool.... but I'll say this neither that garden patch or the chest is any good.
I mean I have a bag of sending does the same thing as that box BIG WHOOP...... and as for the garden well that's all well and good.... but um.. since it won't give resources or anything ...... don't care.
And seriously there are about 10,000 bugs that need fixing first in the EC. I'm sick to death of having to get into freaking 2d to deco my house because trying to do it in the EC is IMPOSSIBLE because everything you try to place winds up a floor or two below!!!!!! That's BS. I'm fed up with having to do 2d to do broken staircases because in the EC stairs NEVER go invis even when you tell it to invis the walls..... and the Circle of Transparency in the EC is a megga joke....
There are dozens of things that go unseen in the EC as well... Including the large horde minion that is often used as a monster by EM's! Completely INVISIBLE to folk in the EC! I'm also absolutely FED up with having to get into 2d to trade with folk in 2d because the TRADEWINDOWS don't work.... people in 2d CAN NOT SEE anything I put in there!!!! Makes trading things IMPOSSIBLE.

Housing and Bank boosts would definitely be an added bonus to these packs 
yes i vote more storage and an extra char slot.. or perhaps a code that gives you 5 extra skill pts (705 for newbies and 725 after the 4 years) and 5 extra stats (235 after the 6 month bonus and a max of 260 after eating a 25 stat scroll) i would like better..

You would pay to have something else you paid for removed? Instead of just, I dunno, not doing anything that High Seas added?
It now looks like plants grown in the raised garden beds will give resources and can be cross-pollinated. My stuff is only on day 8, but the fraction for seeds now shows 0/8. (Don't have anything planted that gives resources.) Don't know if there will be a chance for the Seeds of Renewal from the plants too; however, if they will give regular seeds, I imagine those are possible too.

I would love to see the gargoyle tile sets and all the other older tile sets finished first before having access to two more sets of tiles, especially one as incomplete as the rustic set appears to be. It is very frustrating to comb through the older tile sets and not be able to find tiles such as corners and "capstone" type tiles in all the different directions. And then there are all the small oddly-shaped gargoyle tiles that look interesting but don't seem to work with any of the other tiles so you can actually use them and have the finished construction look decent. There are also a lot of tiles that don't seem to fit tightly with other tiles so you have to wonder (especially playing on Siege or building in Fel) how secure your finished building is.

If they added storage upgrades, that would give them a reason to bump the price up, which would cause a lot of people who were on the fence to not buy the boosters which would be bad for UO.
They should just drop the prices of some of the upgrades in the gamecodes store.

Either way, if the EC is so horrible why havent you just deleted it and started playing the good old tried and true 2d again? Or do you also have serious issues with that?

I pretty much agree w/ you on that. If I'm paying extra, I want it (relatively) bug-free. I don't think that's too much to ask. If HS would have worked, I might have bought it, but looks like I made the correct decision Not buying - 6mths, still buggy? Maybe it'll all work fine for a few people, just look at all the successes: the ability to simply place a house on Magincia? Char copy? rubble? backups? I don't trust it, any of it, no thanks, the others can buy it
The old 2d client is slow and I can do WAY more good things with the EC... however... the things I'm so frustrated over need fixing as I would LIKE very much to get more and more people onboard with using the EC... this can't be done in it's current state...
I would like there to be only ONE client... and I would like for the 2d client to be laid to rest.
So if I seem bitter or angry over it ... that's because I want the game to move forward... and it can NOT do that with all the big bugs and issues... Which I get tired of hearing about how it's being "looked into" or "worked on" and seeing little improvement.... and HUGE steps BACKWARDS.
I guess I'm getting tired of seeing all my old friends finally giving up and quitting UO over issues they have been irritated with for years... Tired of seeing them leave because the game is devolving... Tired of having to put up with 100's of little griefers... Tired of hearing about this or that friend getting hacked and nothing getting done about it.... Tired of hearing about folk losing things and quitting.... Tired of so few friends being in game anymore...
And mostly ...... Fed up with waiting for bug fixes that never come.

But honestly having played for 13 years. My friends and I are having a blast with the new expansions, Stygian Abyss, High Seas, etc.. I look forward to the new expansions.

As for friends leaving? Well 7 of mine have returned in the last week alone....soooo not sure what to tell ya about your friends leaving. People just need breaks sometimes.
Try to remember its suppose to be entertainment. If it stresses ya out that much maybe a break is in order! Honestly the less I read all the negativity on these forums the more I find I'm enjoying the game. I often wonder how much the posts on these forums have contributed to people leaving the game rather than the game itself.

And really Diablo 1 looks better than 2d, 2d looks like mixture of many decades, no style, new ugly and old arts are mixed, the interface is completly outdated. The game is slow, no if you ever get in touch with the EC, you dont want to go back.
The decesion to finish the EC at the beginning of the year was right, but it is there last chance, i would say 2 years at this current state and UO is dead for me, the boosters are anoying and like High Seas full of bugs, disappearing boats, runes are not working, salpeter crysis, the boat combat system without shooting animations, no healthdisplay, this booster was a complete fail. The only thing i like are the new ships they are really nice designed.

Just keeping up the same 20% this one time also would be good for me.
Well, considering that not everyone might end up doing the clean up and that new items gets one to need more space anyways, I still think a house/bank storage increase would be most welcome and a good additional factor in helping players whether to spend their real money on either of the 2 new THEME packs.....

Need the open stairs and doors for the rustic.
Need the doors for the gothic.
Maybe add 5% storage increase. The theme packs are just incomplete.
I think they are nice looking just need the additional artwork. Not sure
why this would be so hard to add.

That was only one booster pack and so it's not a trend by any means, and the devs said the next booster pack is not a full booster pack.
EA really should drop the price on the existing storage upgrade though, probably a lot of people would buy it.
If I am not mistaken, so far we have had house/bank storage increases 3 times (or maybe 4 ?) and all of the times the increase was 20% each........
To me it looks like, smells like a trend........

20% = Mondain's Legacy, an expansion that you used to have to pay for
20% = UO Game Codes store, and you still have to pay for it
20% = High Seas, a booster pack that you have to pay for
An expansion, a game code you buy, and a booster pack, three completely separate things.
If there was a trend, then Stygian Abyss would have had a 20% increase.
Regardless, I do not see why the 2 new THEME Packs could not also carry as a bonus a 20% house/bank storage increase which would make the THEME Packs a more interesting purchase to players and thus, bring more revenues to the game.

If EA cared about bringing more revenue in with UO with storage increases, they could take the storage increases you can currently buy on the game codes store and drop the price. They could even allow you to purchase two per account.
They could lower prices on a lot of things in the game codes store.
Plus they aren't going to add storage upgrades right as they are about to do a spring cleaning.
I do not think that lowering prices would help more, it would bring in less revenues, IMHO.
I do not think either that spring (or summer at this point...) cleaning might have any relationship at all with a new house/bank storage increase.
Players not interested in the spring cleaning (or missing it for not having time to participate in the time frame allocated) could be then interested in a 20% house/storage if it was added to the THEME Packs sales making them more appealing.
Since the storage increase has been done already 3 times in the past, I assume the trouble to code in a new one would be minimal thus making the extra sales of the THEME Packs from the added storage be all welcomed extra revenues.
I mean, if it cost little work to add a new 20% house/bank storage increase because the code is already there, and if this could bring in more sales of the THEME Packs, then why not ??

Maybe they have a booster or something More Lame coming down the road that might not sell well - they can add it then to get people to buy that one; just an extra widget they can throw in at the last moment when they run out of Good ideas

From the posts I read I am more sceptical.........
And if the 2 THEME Packs do not have much of a sale appeal, then adding NOW a 20% House/Bank Storage increase might help sales NOW.........
I mean, if more revenues can be gotten NOW, why postpone them to who knows when it will be that a new Booster will be ready for release ??
I think it is better to show NOW that Ultima Online can bring in revenues, and so ensure that it is kept up and running and perhaps even get more support, rather than leave this card for later on (who knows HOW MUCH later on........) when it might be already too late to use it.......
I definately think it would be in the best interest of UO to play the wild card of an extra 20% House/Bank storage increase NOW, rather than leaving it for who knows when........

Speaking of 'they', I guess we got all the sales pitch about these paks that we're gonna get. Pretty cool, the salesman sets his stuff out, no explanations or squat, just sits in the back room and just waits. I won't be buying it anyways, but I wouldn't anyways w/o being able to ask questions, get a decent faq, a little feedback, or Something. When it go on sale, tomorrow?

I think you're somewhat missing the point with this.
These booster packs, as is , hardly warrant a $2.99 price tag.
If they do indeed want people to buy them, well duh - yeah, the easiest way of accomplishing this would be to increase storage.
When I first went through the "new" stuff on test, I kinda laughed and said you've got to be kidding me. Over the last week or so my attitude has changed.
Unfortunately, I think this IS the best they can do. Quite sad when reality sets in.
Cheap for a booster. But my question wasn't really only regarding this thread. The OP has been antsy over storage increases all the time.
Personally though, these theme packs aren't there to attract every player, only a specific group. I don't even think EA was planning on everyone buying them.

I think I recall that changes were done to the way the servers deal with Houses and their storage. If I am not mistaken, they get accessed ONLY when the plaver actually gets in the house. Meaning, that the Houses contents for most of the time are not a burden to servers.
Besides, hardware costs is way cheaper than it used to be and so, depending on how sales would go, chances are that even if any hardware upgrade was necessary this would only use a small fraction of the sales money and would benefit the game on other performance issues also. A positive happening for UO, in the end, I think.
That a game shows its ability to attract revenues, I think is vital for the survivability of that game........ why do you think online games are closed from time to time ? Because they show reduced ability to attract revenues, is my guess.......
So, if the selling of these 2 THEME Packs ends up a flop, in terms or revenues, this might look bad on UO.
Instead, if they added to the package also a 20% House/Bank storage increase, chances are that this alone would make the packs way more appealing to players, increase the revenues from them and send a message to management that UO is alive and well (usually management looks at numbers, mostly,.....), capable of still being a good revenues source. Which would be, I think, a very good thing for UO and those who wish to keep playing it for a long time more.......
That's at least the way I see it.

Is it so hard to make a new fel land? Why couldn't abyss have been fel/tram... the new champ spawns are cool and I can't complain too much about the abyss it was better then...well anything in recent memory.

IDK mayb there are people sitting around saying I wish my training dummy would take me to 60 skill since in 15 years I have not been able to get past this hurtle...

Booster packs usually do not contain any new landmasses, just additional content such as items and deco.
If you were looking for a felucca version of the abyss, you'd need a full expansion pack, not a booster.
Right right, I suppose I'm just grumbling about the overall lack of fel content, as they seem to like to work on crap that doesn't add anything meaningful to uo. I must say that the pet trading vendors is a cool idea, but other then that I think they should've spent their time on something more worthwhile.
