[Imbuing] Never, ever craft Garg rings/Bracelets...

Just restating the obvious since there are so many new Imbuers out there -

ALWAYS make "normal" rings & bracelets - preferablly Exceptional - so that either human, elf or gargoyle can equip them. But more important is the starting Durability - 255 for normal R & B but only 40-70ish for similar Gargoyle items. With the price of Powder of Fortification, a crafty one needs all the breaks one can get ...

I never even tried. Now that changes everything. I guess I can get FC/FCR on my gargoyle artificer without relics. Doh! That's going to make getting enough loyalty points for the Queen's Forge much easier.

yes gargoyle can use human/elf regular ring/bracelets

shouldn't spend relics on FC/FCR anyway. just looting items from killing **** I commonly find:

bracelet FC1
ring FC1
ring FCR2
ring FCR3 (!!!)
ring FCR3 FC1 (!!!) (ornament waiting to be imbued)
bracelet FCR2
bracelet FCR1/FC1

strangely I have NOT found a bracelet with FCR3/fc1 as I have with the ring - twice

when i find them there are no other properties so they are waiting to be imbued. ive considered putting them on my vendor at times. could be worth a lot

Yes, exactly. Until this thread I thought I'd have to imbue FC/FCR on garg jewelry. I haven't adventured in SA hardly at all so I haven't found any new garg jewelry with FC/FCR... But I have a fair bit of 1/3 rings and braces I will now setup for my garg. Coolness!

Just getting magery skills trained up so I can go slay 8000 loyalty points worth of toxic sliths.

i did it for a week and only made 5k loyalty. they go down pretty fast with EVs. in the beginning i started with blade spirit and fireballs

by far the best way to gain loyalty points quickely is raptors or whatever they're called near the holy city, you run round and get 15-20 of them chasing you then take them down, they are fast and hit faster to interupt spells so can be real fun but i got 10k points in two hours

Would like to make 2 corrections here,, 1. BOTH Human/elf jewelry AND Gragish jewelry get a durability of 255 when imbued so starting durability on a ring/brace doesn't matter.
2. Gargish rings and bracelets found as loot can also be found with FC and FCR mods already on them.
And remember that the skill mods are replaceable/interchangeable,,,,i.e. a looted ring with FCR2,FC1,Stealth +4 on it can have all 3 tame mods added as Lore will replace stealth....etc

I didn't know that I have a Garg bracelet with FC1/FC3 and 3 other mods but since it had a 44 Dur, i never bothered enhancing it.

Still, I stand by original statement, for one simple reason. ANY race can wear normal ring or bracelet, but only Gargoyles can wear Garg jewels - n'est-ce pas?

EDIT: LOL-or can they? I know they cant wear earings or necklace, but mayber R & B?

You are correct on that point,,, all races can wear the normal(human/elf) rings and bracelets including Gargoyles for some reason, tho gargoyles can't wear the human earing/necklaces, BUT humans/elves CANNOT wear gargish jewelry. So if crafting jewelry, you are right, there is no reason to craft a gargish ring/brace unless it is for aesthetic reasons .....
