I thought if you had the poison you didn't need tactics to use infectious strike? Did they change this?

Nerf or change infectious strike?

I'm pretty sure you don't need tactics for infectious strike. I'll test it again tonight. I know you need both tactics and poisoning for serpent arrow.
Just tested this on Siege Perilous, 120 swords, 90 poisoning, and 0 tactics. Works like a charm. Perhaps your weapon skill is not high enough?
