I think you did a fantastic job! are the countertops rubble? As for not being happy with it, maybe it is just the bareness right now. I cant see any elements you're missing, got a stovetop, oven, sink, counterspace. Love that lil overhang on the stove!
I'm kinda a simplistic decorater tho, and you might not be going for that :) good luck.

The decor and layout is really cute, I like it a lot. The only thing I would change is the floors. The stone floor when it is put out in squares like that is jarring, the cave floor is more of an outside kind of thing, and the kitchen floor blends too much with the countertops. In the kitchen I would either do a red floor (not the rooftop tile thats in the floor section) but the square or other one. Or if you find that too much of a contrast you could do the light or dark wood flooring. I like to checker it sometimes too, you would do one tile that runs N-S then one tile that runs E-W, alternate this way and do the same for the whole floor.

I did this a long time ago (hi homemade tree!), but I still like the effect of the pillow as used for stepping stones. The round ones might look better, but they're harder to find en masse, hehe. Would look nice on grass as well:

Thank you guys for your input.. I am going to change the floor as suggested.

Shantia, to answer you it is rubble. Also have this other rubble, see pic. But I need one more of those brown wood tiles to be able to use the rest of them instead of the ones in my original picture. If anyone is Sonoma has one they can sell me please let me know.. thanks!

Super super cute! I love the idea of using rubble...Especially those particular pieces. Usually its hard to find a purpose for a lot of the rubble items. You over all house is darling, I bet when you get all of your stuff put away and your stable? (front room on the left) it will awesome. Very nice!

Very cute design/lay out!! :) Don't have much to add for advice. However, when you are finished with the room (or entire house) would you mind posting to show the final design? :)
