Need help with the classic client

Hi:

I re-installed UO today and downloaded the classic client...im having two problems i cant figure out and hope somebody can help...

1) When I mouse over myself or anyone/anything else the description is to the left and not above what I mouse over. How do you make the description move to above the targeted item?

2) The command Ctrl-Shift dosent work anymore, it used to show a all names type fuction that worked for all items.

I've been trying to figure out how to fix these issues and i havent been able to do it...any help would be awesome...

1) There is a setting in the options, if I remember right. You'll need to fiddle with that til you get it right.

2) As far as I know, there's no setting for this, and I just had my husband check it, since he's logged in, and it's workin fine for him, so not sure what's going on there.

bring up Options, go to the upper right one that looks like a mouse, scroll the scrollbar down till you see "Object Handles" - make sure it's checked

Holding down the ctrl and shift buttons works just fine to show object tags? As I said, I just made my husband try it, cos he's logged in just now

Press Alt O,
See the Top right hand tab that looks like a mouse.
Scroll down about half way, see Item Properties Display Mode
Make sure Follow Mouse has black dot in it..
Press Apply upon completion then Okay

Ya should be good to go now

Anyone have a link to a good 2d classic client for download? I tried using an old CD and patching and also tried downloading the one from uo.com. Right when I log in, the screen stays black and I'm not able to do anything. Any help is appreciated!
