Fire Field

That torch idea is not bad. Untested by me. Used to be that casting FIRE FIELD was the standard solution. Walk thru the fire and the insects die.

I hope it isn't too subtle. Seriously, why suddenly there's a spell that follows totally different rules. What if revenants did the same and you had to find the trick to remove them. That could be something like : drink liquor, make your character spin 360° and spit.
And don't forget the dead goose!

Timing would have to be just right, at 15pts damage, you just get interrupted when trying to cast Anything, or use recall scrolls. So you're pretty much limited to foot travel only. No life bar for them, so they have God-Mode on. Even if you can make it home, hide, and

Yes there are several meanings for one word, it's mad. Once you'll stop trying to emphasize every word with a funky format, you'll attach more importance to the word itself and you'll be able to understand deeper in the subtext. Maybe one day you'll be able to write something with a bit of subtlity and you won't need to annoy readers with fluff.
