it is not just one skill is my point...trapped boxes negate spells over the whole magic spectrum. a mage must incorperate magery, eval, and meditation for starters just for that and other spells to function effectively on the field...thats 300+ skill. add in mysticism, or necro SS and you are looking at 500+ skill...which is far fetched from the single spell you speak of. in fact truth be told the box entirely nerfs the need to have resist (save for mana vamps)...which is only 120 points. You're not getting what I'm saying. I'm not defending trap boxes, I don't care. I'm saying why should ONE spell completely dominate a template just because they don't have ONE skill. Are you saying that every template should have it? That kinda gimps any customization between templates doesn't it? 1 more skill everyone needs, 1 less skill people can put on their templates without being crippled by a single spell. You don't see anything wrong with that? Forget that you use it. That's irrelivant. I use bushido, Should I go on about how Evasion has no problems and should be unnerfed? See outside the box.
now...120 points of skill vs. 500 plus points of skill. mages had to give up much when specials required tactics...please explain why we should give up more based upon an exploited item. i personally do not give a crap at what box you are looking outside of. start with a point you know...then work your way out...I could care less if the box is blue if I am inside complaining about the smell.
