[Note to moderater: Mysticism is not on the drop-down menu of prefixes]
I've noticed that the Cleansing Winds spell does not always function. It can go off (i.e. not sputter) yet not remove curses. Is this how it's supposed to work?
Here's some background. I have a Gargoyle Mystic-Mage in training. To build his magic abilities I'm using a macro that keeps repeaiting the Cleansing Winds and Curse spells, both targeted at self. Both spells sputter a lot at these levels, but the xp rate overall is pretty good. About half the time that Cleansing Winds does go off, it fails to remove the Curse. (I can even get a gain in Mysticism for one of these "failures".)
If anyone is curious, his goal template -- with current values -- is:
Magery: 120 -- 69.7 -- 41.7 (with mage weapon)
Mysticism: 120 -- 67.9
Imbuing: 120 -- 53.0
Eval Int: 120 -- 80.3
Meditation: 120 -- 108.2
Wrestling: 120 -- 52.5
Resist Spells: 0 -- 61.6
It's pretty neat to have a cycle where everything works: cursed
