Yes it was enjoyable until they dropped Barding Difficulty. Then it became boring. My disco/provo bard weaver was dropping them like flies. I would party up, people just kept bringing them to me. I gave away the last 150 or so maps. Digging them up was just plain boring too.
Its not about the loot, its about the challenge. For a challenge I went to fel, and was provoking turkeys onto summoned harbringers. Used up all the extra yellow crystals that way and got some pretty neat weps. Had my bard wearing luck suit. The one red that ran across me didn't take too long to die when I invissed and bringer and turkey both popped on him.
And no, the whack jobs that cant kill the turkeys themselves and got off luring them into brit when people tried to focus, well, that was disappointing. One was a guildmate, so after the second time and him being warned, I logged on as my tamer and smoked him in about 5 seconds. Yes, I hated the fact that just getting a focus was a death sentence. So for the last couple days of the event, I just trained healing on 5 cu sidhes to GM. I love challenge, just hate stupid people.
