My Ships are Dry Docked?

I just refreshed my ships in the last 3 or 4 days so they should not have sunk. I can not recall from the rune because it says the ship can not be located. However, the rune says the ship is dry docked. If it is dry docked where can i recover it?

Check it again in a few hours. Could be lag or hit a server back up or somethign else.

That... or if the ship was left in Felucca and open to anyone... a stranger could have sailed it through the serpent pillars and left it in the Lost Lands - which is a no-recall zone.

Since you can only have one boat in the water at a time, try to place another boat and if you can't, I'd get a friend and start searching the waters of the lost lands.

Um, I have a book with runes to all of the fishmonger docks, including Papua, and it works just fine. When I have an order to deliver to there, I go through the pillar, recall to the fishmonger, then recall back to my ship. I can also recall back to my house to unload and from there back to the ship. So that shouldn't be a problem.

My apologies, just reread and realised you said fel!

I had this happen in the first few days of High Seas publish. I recalled home from a Tokuno boat that was parked just across the server line, NE of Magincia (I think). Then when I tried to go back to the ship it said cannot be located. Took a 2nd character with another ship to go to location. Found my ship. Brought the original character back by recalling on the 2nd boat key. Moved my ship a bit further from the server line and was able to recall to it again.

If you remember where you left it, try going to the same server area and see if you can recall to it that way.

I have had this happen to me a bunch of times.

You need to recall to the same server as close as possible to where you left your ship. Then your rune should work.

It happens to me so often (yes, I dock very close to a server line) that I have a rune in my book for the shore beside my ship.

I think it's the server lines that do it. I've only had it happen once, and I was right on a server line.

I've had this 'cannot locate' message. I kind of assumed that the boat had decayed. Can the new boats decay? If so, that is quite a steep price.

Like I said, I'm kind of assuming that it's gone and I have come to terms with it, but I figured that I'd ask, just in case.

This what I found on Google

still follow the old boat rules......you must refresh at least once every 5-7 Boats days. The new ships are refreshed by the owner boarding the ship using the mooring line or clicking on the tiller man

From Stratics "The overall time from "like new" to the actual collapsing is 5 days. Refreshing a house or ship twice a week is sufficient to keep it from falling apart."

"like new" approx. 5 minutes
"slightly worn" 1 days
"somewhat worn" 1 days
"fairly worn" 1 days
"greatly worn" 1 days
"in danger of collapsing" more than 18 hours
The overall time from "like new" to the actual collapsing is 5 days. Refreshing a house or ship twice a week is sufficient to keep it from falling apart. It's best to refresh a long time before the server starts saving (at 5 AM local time), more than once has a house decayed because the refresh of the house was not saved.

So I think if it's under 7 days your ship should still be there.
