Keep the blue! My sim will always be a sim! If I wanted an 'avatar' I would play a different game. Although I'm all for change, I'd hate to lose my 'sim' status. Keep the game as it is, just add more fun things to do and update/improve the objects, clothes, jobs, etc. Whatever you do, please don't make our game in to yet another sci-fi fantasy. I'm sure the majority will agree, we play TSO because we love the virtual reality of it, I'll be surprised if they don't. Come on, lets cheer for The Sims

On the TSO-E blog's most recent post, the full EA-Land logo is unveiled. Personally, if EA is trying to make money off of this game, I don't see how they're going to attract more players with a logo that comes off as one of a child's toy. The concept is fine, but the mixture of the colors throws it off completely.

I may be the only one with this mindset, but if you feel strongly about the logo, PLEASE make yourself heard. I know several of you didn't care for the logo, but it's up to us to make sure it's refined. I whipped up something quick to give comparison of something a bit more professional looking. With it contains the "house" logo that's known for TSO. I strongly feel they should leave that there; we've been calling this game TSO for years, and to lose all attachment of this game logo-wise would seem silly.

What are your thoughts, and which do you prefer? I am not a graphics designer (obviously 'nuff), but it's a start.

I like the one you made better, but remember EA Land is only hosting TSO as the newest logo says. Have you looked at it lately?

Where can I read up on that? And even still, EA-Land can be completely seperate from TSO, but I'd still like a better logo. I honestly don't see EA-Land doing well with the logo they've provided us with so far. I know that sounds silly, but customers, we base our first impression on image.

You can see it as the game loads up, it's same yellow (yuck) splash with the TSO icon attached to it now.

I really like your logo, Phoenix. It looks very professional. You did a great job! Just a suggestion, but maybe you could put in smaller letters under the EA Land...hosted by The Sims Online?

Personally, I prefer the personal signature that Phoenix has at the bottom of his posts - for me it has energy and shows almost like a hive of activity - I think the others are a little flat and boring, albeit certainly far better than the EA Land we have have now - the "under construction" one. The only thing I would add would be some of the sim characters from the splash screen we have on launching the TSO program.

Thats my 5c worth!

I like this even better - it even uses EA's official logo. I'm not sure why their official logo wouldn't be used in the first place, since It's going to be an all-around type of game, like pogo.

I, too, would like something like my signature. I would like the EA circular logo have an "orbital" ring around it, and the background be set in space. The only issue is that I highly doubt they'll use that as the logo/splash screen.

Hey why dont you give it a go and put it as you see it with the official EA logo, like you had above - would love to see how it looks - you never know, they might just go for it........No harm in trying!

Very nice. How about turning the big circle behind ea into a globe using the new ealand map? Then make the EA glossy or shinny?
